National Newspaper Association

Day 1,650, 15:11 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

Hello eUK!

Today we're writing to tell you about the NNA, or the National Newspaper Association.

Many moons ago the NNA was established in order to reward good articles and publishers that the MoHA felt deserved recognition. It has been running solidly over the past years and no takes a slightly different form. You would have noticed that rather than doing weekly roundups, the NNA now does awards whenever the eworld get slightly dull!

So, nominations have been opened, and you can begin nominating away by PMing Jimbojoy Remember, without nominations there can be no winners, so if you see an article that makes you chuckle, think, or rage, nominate it and the media team will judge all entries and vote on the winners in the new year!

Our categories are:

- Best Guide (as a tie-in with other prizes)
- Best Entertainment Value
- Best Use of Alliteration in a Article
- Worst Congress Manifesto

and onto the more prestigious awards!

- Best Political/Serious Article
- Best Series
- Best Paper
- Best Newcomer

From The Vaults

Some people say that living in the past is a terrible thing and it is. However, reading things written in the past is sometimes good (unless it’s Dickens, long winded git). In a new semi irregular feature we at the NNA have decided to root around in the vaults and bring to your attention an article from our archives.

Who knows maybe said article will spur today's budding journalists on and wake up some of the old decaying ones.

This time around we’ve dug up Dishmcds and a little article he wrote about alliances from the dark ages. Enjoy and please have a rummage around our archives yourself and send us a pm if you spot something you’d like featured.

A History of Alliances

Should we have?

And so that concludes our NNA update - remember to keep your eye out for our banner and nominations link, and keep writing!

Thanks for reading,

The MoHA Team!
