My Run for Party President

Friends, Dutch, countrymen, lend me your ears!
I am announcing my run for Party President of Revolution et Libertas. I understand that I am a relatively young citizen, and my chances of winning are slim. However, I firmly believe that I will be able to improve this party and, in so doing, improve the eNetherlands as a whole.
My Party Platform:
1. ReL needs to continue lobbying the DAF to conduct RWs. At the current moment, the eNetherlands has no regions. No regions means no Congress and no overthrowing the current dictatorship (see #2).
2. ReL needs to do everything in its power to overthrow the current dictatorship, first by encouraging RWs to get our nation a region back, second by getting the DAF to support a coup d'etat, and third by raising 200,000 CC through aggressive fundraising campaigns. Garmr has been in power for too long, and he's not affiliated with a political party. I'd like for Walhallah to have the opportunity to govern democratically and as a representative of our party and the eNetherlands as a whole; in order to do that, though, we need to overthrow the current dictatorship. It's been revealed to me that our dictatorship is a democratic dictatorship (what an oxymoron). I withdraw this point. This type of dictatorship protects us from a PTO, which isn't something I considered when writing up this party platform.
3. Once we have a region back and can ensure national security and freedom from PTOers, we need to hold major get-out-the-vote campaigns to increase our representation in Congress. That is my long-term goal for this party: get our proportional slate of representatives in Congress and then some.

I very much like seeing that you are so politically involved and active in the media. I encourage this (hence my vote and endorsement). Good luck in your run for Party President. I think you are a bit early to announce it because PP elections are held every 15th of the month so we have half a month to go, but it can only be a good thing to announce your candidacy early.
Your second campaign point is a bit dubious. I would like to direct you to two articles I wrote concerning the dictatorship we are in. A few weeks ago, a referendum was held in which the Dutch people decided to stay a dictatorship only with a dictator chosen by the people and / or Congress.

...is an interview with our Chairman of Congress whom was obliged to organize the referendum which he did VERY well (thank you Tonie!). You don't have to read all of it, I only recommend the first part with the referendum outcome and I recommend checking the "Do you want to read more" in the bottom of the article for anything you'd like to know as well.

Of course, every citizen is free to call upon arms and try to overthrow the dictatorship we are in currently. However, if you publicly announce that you want the dictatorship to be overthrown, I personally believe you are creating a dangerous situation in which our country runs the risk of becoming an easy target for foreigners who want to take over our country (which DID happen to other countries who weren't as smart as we to immediately implement our own dictatorship as you can read via the links I gave). Therefore I feel obliged to give you some background information before this dangerous situation arises. 😉
Once again I want to say how happy I am to see that you are so active and I encourage you to keep going the way you are right now! We may be of different parties but seeing new players active here in our country makes my heart very warm. I believe our country only has a future with people like you who are motivated and willing to make a change where needed!

Government is working on it actually, but Portugal is quite a big stronger and RW a region isn't that easily. It will be eventually when determination rises the longer they hold the region so they will have to give up the region eventually.

I suggest you read up what and why of the dictatorship before making such stands. This was a democratic decision to become a dictatorship agreed upon by a referendum and agreed with by congress. If we do not have a dictatorship some foreigner will come in with their MU and start a revolution themselve to become dictator and nothing we could do about it. Having a dictatorship is a protective measure so we won't be taken over.
Either way, good to see another active person and good luck with your election. I do think it might be a bit too early for you to run and you might want to catch up on things before deciding to run for Party President. Seems with your statement about dictator and you previous article about the monotary market you are quite a bit behind on the game and on eNetherlands.

Good to see you're very motivated to become PP. But indeed, like other people mentione😛
1: remains a point to work on. I think everyone agrees this is probably the most important thing to do.
2: We have our dictatorship for a good reason. We've also held a referendum to see what eNL really thinks about it, where this option got a huge majority.
Of course, it doesn't necessarily have to be Garmr as dictator. He could be swapped for another dictator. What is important is that the dictator is politically neutral. He cannot be a minister or state secretary, let alone president.
But revolutions are definitely a bad idea. We need a dictatorship to prevent a foreign dictatorship being installed. One single foreigner can start a MU, invite all his foreign friends and start a coup, and there's no way we can defend against that, just like we couldn't defend against Portugal...
If they have to start the revolution, we get a lot more time to prepare a counter-coup, or our own new coup.
3: ReL got 32.5% of the votes. Looking at the number of party members you'd expect 39/(39+27+26+22+13) = 30.7%. I'm not sure what you think should change? It seems you got exactly the expected fraction of congress seats.
Oh, a remark: Garmr is not a member of any political party at the moment, but we all know which party to affiliate him with...

Correct. I currently only represent myself and my own views, without taking any party concerns into account.
Referendum? That's a democratic dictatorship. There's no such thing as a democratic dictatorship. This isn't a dictatorship, and I'm sorry for thinking it was. Considering this, I am inclined to believe that Garmr is a rather fine "dictator" indeed.
