My plan for eAustralia
An Australian Man
Today, Australia (in real life) began a 8 week march to a general election on July 2nd. This election could be one of the biggest in Australian History.
BUT, that is not why I am talking about today. No, today I set out my plan for a better eAustralia. A eAustralia that will be respected by the likes of Serbia and Chile (but not like them).
There is going to be a lot we have to do to get there though and will take some time. But hopefully we can lay the groundwork soon, but I hope some of the ideas I talk about today will start a discussion that will lead to a better tomorrow
Population
Let's face facts. Our population is too small to sustain even a foot in the door in this eWorld. When i started this game way back when, we were controlled by the Chilean Brutes and the gang of strong men. We were lucky to have even one region that we could keep for more than 3 days at a time, and was lucky to get a Parliament.
We need to encourage people to join a battler nation. Which is why I am proposing the Australian Population Bureau. The APB will encourage population growth in our country, and give benefits for current eCitizens who bring in new Australians. Whether through naturalization or new eCitizens being created.
And for anyone who doubts that this plan will work, if I am elected APP Party President, i will seek to trail this plan with APP members who can bring in new eCitizens and align them with the APP.
The need for Land
For eAustralia to gain power, we need land. As stated above, our current population is currently to low for us to sustain land by ourselves. That leaves us with two main options at the current time. Gain stronger allies, or make peace with our enemy's.
In my opinion, we need new allies. We can't be consider the wimp and lose our territory to benefit others. And this sentiment has been echoed by other prominent eAussies.
But what if we can't find new allies. Well then we might have to negotiate with people who are held in little regarded by eAussies like myself.
But the specifics are for another time. We never know where we will be in 3 months. If we are in a better position then we are now, then we might want to keep the future status quo. Although if we are still in our current position, then I will talk about my ideas at a later date.
For me, these are the two most important issues in our eNation at the moment and my views and soultions of these problems. But I might be misinformed, I might be wrong about something. So don't hesitate to call me out on anything I have stuffed up on.
In conclusion, we need to grow. We need our population to thrive, and our eNation to be respected.
Thanks,
An Australian Man

We have enjoyed peace for some time now due to successful diplomacy by successive governments. The current wars are friendlies for the purpose of gaining domination points during the Resource War. There has been some detail in DoD articles, but expect more detail soon.
Really, to me that is quite shocking to hear. But if we have been able to have some sort of peace for a while then that is good news to hear.
I might add that Australia had a reasonable MPP stack when I started my term. For the good or bad I let that go in favor of building a reserve and preparing for an AS. The rumblings of the current Resource War were on the horizon but admittedly I was not certain when it would happen. Lucky happenstance that my timing was spot on. Unfortunately I was not able to better negotiate the wars, I don't want to get into that here though. Gudz has done a marvelous job of getting right to it, so kudos to him.
After the crazy tournament I would suggest speaking with some of our former MPP partners. I'm sure there is something that could be done towards a new alliance or association with an existing one that has clout.
As far as new people, I've been encouraged speaking with new and old alike in ADF MU. Cody wanted out so I took command. Only recently have I had time to start contacting members. I plan to revive the MU. To make it a place to educate, build and supply our troops. Anyone that remembers my running of Pickle's Patriots can tell you that I don't expect a lot of silly o7 and such but I do expect people to be honest, trustworthy and dependable. More on that later.
Nice, the ADF needs a kick start again
Look forward to hearing more about it
Hope to see you around for longer time.
Thanks man, just trying to help out the country
AAM, start with how to get citizens into the country. There still seems to be a stalemate on how people are approved and get in here, whether it be democracy or via an ASIO system and how we currently do this it looks as though there are many brick walls put up by others to delay any form of easy continuous system.
We all know that by letting in the wrong individuals we can get unruly senators who believe lulz NE's are acceptable.
I think we need a hybrid system. I would make ASIO into a screening system with the MoFA, MoD, high profile citizen and some members of Parliament. Then ASIO can either advise to parliament if the candidate would been a good citizen, or someone who could cause problems. If both ASIO and Parliament agree with each other, then the ASIO ruling would stand. If they disagree however, then they would form a commission to come to a binding resolution, headed by the Chief of ASIO and the Speaker of the Parliament
Unfortunately not enough active citizens to make it that in-depth.
This is the current one that we still have too many hold ups http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-asio-immigration-and-protecting-your-country-2595150/1/20
We will never have a large population while the game is what it is and until they put some serious coin into advertising it.
It is important to have an active population than a large one. We have picked up considerably and that no doubt comes from stable government and stable regions but with some friction within the community. The real question is how to sustain this and how to grow it.
Well I think we need to do our own advertising to entice people to play then lock them in within the first 2 weeks so they don't get bored
Suggestions how to lock them?
Supportive Community, Gold Grants (if we have a enough), Involvement with the Political Module, etc.
True, more can definitely be done in that respect. It is a matter of getting the committed people to do so.
I just had I idea, why not start a small advertising team for eAUS. Like 5 people trying to spread the word that eAus might be the next thing for the eWorld
You want a job, got the perfect platform for you 😉
I need a job Henry. Bring it on
If this man is not part of our government then give him a job, he can even join my job, more the merrier 🙂
