dRobi1990
Dear readers,
thanks for reading, voting and subbing dRobizam newspapers.
This is my first article after a long time, but not the last one.
Why am I writing it? Because I have visited Plitvice Lakes National Park and I have some photos to share with you.
These photos are amateur, made with OLYMPUS FE5000 digital camera. No photoshop or any kind of editing.
If you want to calm your soul and dream about something beatufiul, just watch photos from Plitvice Lakes - heaven on Earth!
Some photos will have explanations and a small info.
! Notice: These article is only made to promote Croatia and Croatian nature, culture, cities, heritage, history, art, cuisine, sports and people (either born in Croatia or others) and is not made to usurp, tease or start any sort of controversy, so please have this on your mind when you post comment.
Part 12 will be published soon.
Enjoy!

Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia's first National park established in 1949 covers 296 square km of breathtaking natural splendor becoming with it the largest among the eight national parks of the country.
The park was inscribed on the UNESCO World HeritageList, in 1979., in recognition of its "outstanding natural beauty and undisturbed production of travertine (tufa) through chemical and biological action".
On the photo: Cross-section of 16 lakes. The national park is world famous for its lakes arranged in cascades.
The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue.
The national Park is underlain by karstic rock, mainly dolomite and limestone with associated lakes and caves, this has given rise to the most distinctive feature of the lakes.
The afforested mountain slopes serve as water reservoirs.
The existing wooden paths are anchored within the travertine sediments
The great plant diversity creates a fascinating interplay of colors changing with the seasons.
A distinctive feature of the Plitvice lakes is the fact that they do not represent separated, stationary waters. The lakes altogether have always been seen as one composed system of lakes.
The colors change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight.
Fallen debris and trees in streams provide shelter for fish, amphibians and mammals by modifying the flow of water and sediment.
Entrance is subject to variable charges, up to $18USD per adult in peak season. It includes boat ride (on the photo).
Within the national park, several pit-caves exist.
The park harbours a grand collection of waterfalls, gallery of lakes, forest and diversity of animal life and represents a phenomenon of karst hydrography.
The highes waterfall is the 78 meters high Large Waterfall (Veliki slap) at the end of the Lower Lakes.

Slike i nisu nešto, al ajde opravdao si se odmah na početku.
Ali odakle ti ona karta? Fali dubrovački aerodrom, riječki je ucrtan na krivom mjestu.
Nema ni Klise, ali ajde možda to i nije "major airport".
I na kraju, fali cila Dalmatina.
Slike su onakve kakve Plitvice jesu. Uljepšavati ni ne treba. 🙂
Promijenit ću kartu tijekom dana 😉
Ma sve 5, Lijepe su, al iskreno vidio sam i ljepših. Nema svako od nas opremu i mot Ive Pervana.
