I happened to stumble upon my dear old friend Pheenic's profile. I don't think he is around now but I found some very insightful articles in his newspaper and I think re-publishing a few is a good idea.

So here are the articles he wrote on Day 1101 (exactly 1100 days ago \o/):

A lot of new citizens have joined, so not a lot of people remember the old days. So, I'm going to publish a series of articles about the past Presidents of India, leading up to the current one. I think everyone should know the previous Presidents who have led India. Therefor, I present to you: Presidents of India-Part 1.

Wolontario
First of all, you must know that when India became a country, many groups of people from other country's moved to India. One of the more prominent groups were the Italians. So, when the Presidential elections came around, the Italians nominated Wolontario. He became the first President of India. To cap that, he also became the first President of India to ever be impeached.

Lautar0
After the impeachment of Wolontario, Lautar became President. During his term, he created the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and transferred 10,000 INR to it. Besides that, not much went on during his term, but in his defense, the MoIA is still running today.

Srachit
After being elected, Srachit, known by his friends as Rachit, became the first RL (Real-life) Indian President. Many things were acomplished during his term. He created an army, set up diplomatic relations with other country's, and created the first National Forum.

Dionysus
Not just a famous politician in India, Dionysus is/was a famous citizen/leader in eRepublik. Dionysus came to India because, quote from his Wiki, "He wanted a new adventure". Upon arriving, he co-founded a political party called India First. During his term, India started to advance at a rapid rate. Unfortunately, the neighboring country of Indonesia decided to attack India for the valuable region of Karnataka. Dionysus quickly managed to acquire 7 MPP's with other country's in less than 12 hours. He then set out preparing India for war. Luckily, Indonesia decided not to attack, but unluckily, decided to PTO (Politically Take-over) instead. Due to a bug in the game, Dionysus wasn't able to carry out a plan he had, and Indonesia successfully PTO'ed India, thus starting a long reign over Indian regions.

mAonK
After Indonesia decided to PTO India, they sent over mAonK to be their Presidential candidate. Indonesia was successful, and mAonK became President. Right after he took office, Indonesia attacked, and mAonK retreated every battle, giving Indonesia all of India's regions. But even after Indonesia had took control, the Indian Congress still had power. They impeached mAonK, ending his reign of power.

BroodRoosterNL
After impeaching mAonK, BroodRoosterNL, better known as Brood, became President. He immediately set about discussing India's freedom with Indonesia. After a successful RW (Resistance War) in Pakistan (Pakistan still had control over a few Indian regions, remnants of the great Dioist Empire), Orissa was freed, reestablishing India on the map. Brood constructed a Q5 Hospital in Orissa (Remember, this was V1, so hospitals played a much bigger part in battles than they do now). Happy with what he was doing, the Indian people reelected him. His term's saw a lot of development for India.

Anjan Sarkar
After Brood was finished with his two terms, Anjan Sarkar was elected President. His win was a huge acomplishment for India, as he received 135 votes. This was a 142% increase in votes from the last election. Anjan Sarkar was a solid President. One of the first things he did was hire a ministry (Cabinet). He even got India two more of their regions through negotiations. All in all, his term showed more progression for India.

David Forde
David Forde is sort of a legend here in India. Elected with 137 votes, he had both the support of both of the political parties in India (India United and Democratic Party of India). As soon as he was elected, he got to work. During his presidency, he tripled the value of the INR, assigned a team of 20 men to help encourage more activity on the national forums, and created a new national forum. But arguably his greatest accomplishment was the signing of a major contract with Indonesia. The contract granted India 10 more of their regions. This made India much more prominent on the map, and helped strengthen relations with Indonesia.

Shail.back
After David's presidency, Shail.back became President. The election he ran in was actually the first time two candidates ran against each other, as in all of the previous elections only one candidate had run. The second candidate happens to have been me (Back then, I figured I was famous enough to win, and Shail's victory taught me different!). After the election, Shail quickly went about trying to strengthen the military. The way he accomplished this was getting War Games for India, bringing the activity level up, and helping the military at the same time.

UgoRaffaele
UgoRaffaele was a military-minded President. Supported by both India United (IU), and Democratic Party of India (DPI), Ugo won the Presidency with ease. He at once got to work on the military. He installed battalions, and improved relations with other country's. He even set up the University of India (Though this fell apart after his Presidency ended). Under him, the military saw many improvements. At the end of his term, he installed a Q1 Defense System in Orissa.

Kansarasumit
Right from the start, Kansarasumit got to work, as India was being threatened by neighboring country's. A major accomplishment of him was placing India's second Q5 Hospital in the region of Maharashtra (Remainder: This was V1, when hospital's played a huge part in battles). He was able to keep India out of war during his Presidency, a respectable feat as its self, considering the circumstances.

PS: srachit was the CP when I first joined the game and Brood was the CP when I actually became active (this account).

I hope this was interesting and I would like to expand this article for our CPs for the last 1100 days. But I would need help with that because I was inactive for a large part of that time.
