Interview with the President

Day 3,156, 04:14 Published in Armenia Armenia by ChievoKevin

Taking advantage of the media competition,we decided to conduct a joint interview with our new president. She gracefully accepted our request. So both KokoAp and Arminatoring will be asking questions.

KokoAp: Thank you for giving us some of your valuable time.
Rose: Not a problem; despite my pretty busy schedule, I always try to have a slot of a few minutes for the media.
Arminatoring: Let me take this opportunity to congratulate you again on your election.
Rose: Well, actually, congratulations are due to the citizens who elected me.
KokoAp: True, but still, getting that kind of lopsided result is pretty impressive.
Rose: 🙂
KokoAp: To get back to more somber facts, what are your plans?
Rose: I thought I already made it clear in my article that all powers being in the hands of the dictator, I had no plans.
KokoAp: Of course, but surely you ought to have some thoughts?
Rose: Hey ! YOU were the one who proposed me as candidate; if you had any doubts ….
KokoAp: No, NO, that wasn’t what I meant … I mean, I was wearing my Party President hat when I proposed your candidacy. Now I am acting simply a correspondent.
Rose (frowning): Well, put back your party president hat and think of something.
Arminatoring (intervening to stop an ugly scene): To change the subject, tell us a bit about yourself.
Rose: Thank you, that’s better. Rose Hazar is my real name, I am Lebanese, I am XX years old (never ask a lady her age), and work as warehouse manager in a medium sized company in Beirut.
Arminatoring: Tell us your relationship with Armenians and eArmenia?
Rose: Again, as I said in my Article, there is a pretty large Armenian community in Lebanon, so naturally I made friends with a lot of Armenians. As for eArmenia, I began eRepublik in the UK. When eArmenia was established, Koko asked me to join you guys, and having no ties in the UK, I most certainly did.
Arminatoring: Since you mentioned Koko; There appears to be a controversy between him and Chievo; what are your thoughts about the subject?
Rose: As president I ought to stay above the fray, but I have to say I have complete trust in Koko, so there.
KokoAp: Since at this moment I am wearing my correspondent’s hat, let’s keep me out of this interview, OK?
Rose: As you wish.
KokoAp: One last question then. When you found out you were elected president with such an overwhelming margin of votes, what was your feeling?
Rose: Ummmm, tough to describe, a mixture of jumping with joy, not knowing what to say, thinking “ummm big deal” or “so what?”
KokoAp: Thank you again, we should not take more of your valuable time.
Arminatoring: I thank you too.
