How to get the Manticore tank skin? - [Update] Fighter Arsenal and my current PP

My name is Silexu and I am (was?) a tank skin hunter. I was fortunate during my Top 100 medal hunt to easily obtain the first two tank skins. The third one came with a little bit of effort (dismantling of 5 Q5 food factories). Now I am asking myself if I should hunt the fourth one: The Manticore. I made some calculation and I will like to share them to you.

Basic scenario: Getting to 40k prestige points would require a similar amount of food fights. I will not take in consideration initial energy and level ups, at this point it’s useless. To produce those fights you would need almost 4000 energy bars.
And let’s make a simple calculation at this moment: 4000 energy bars = 200 10xpacks of double energy bar = 5400Gold if you already got them through energy bar offers or = 7800Gold if you want to buy them now.

Scary? Yes, if you are not a card player, or if you did not accumulate energy bars. So let's assume you either have plenty of gold or you where careful enough and get a lot of energy bars.

Epic scenario: Fighting in epic battles would half the energy bars needed and we can start the calculations.
And the good news is can get some bars on the way.

The amount of bars you can get back up to 40k is as following:
- 0 – 5000 PP: 17 EBs and a lot of stuff;
- 5000 – 10000 PP: 60 EBs actually starting from 7000 PP after you get some more stuff;
- 10000 – 15000 PP: 90 EBs;
- 15000 – 20000 PP: 135 EBs;

The total sum of EBs up to 20k PP is 302. After that you get 20 EBs at every 1000 PP you get. Up to 39k PP they sum to 380 EBs. As a first math equation you would need only 2000 – 302 – 380 ~ 1320 (EBs).

Hmm, still far from what I have.

Another good news is the time is ticking and you get free food fights back. So let’s assume the epic battles come quite early and in enough number to do as many fights as possible. So we will still have 6 days of accumulating food fights. A 20k PP mark would give one 60 energy recovery per 6 min. = 600 recovery per hour and 14400 per day (that if you don’t work and train). 6 days of such fighting effort would give 8640 food fights and thus you can spare ~ 430 “Epic” EBs. If you are fortunate to have the Power Pack the day would count up to 19200 food fights per day that would spare 11500 food fights and the equivalence of 550 “Epic” EBs.

I would continue the calculation with two actors: pack-less player (let’s call him Silexu) and pack-full player (aka Packman).
Silexu would need 1320 – 430 = 880 EBs while Packman would need 1320 – 550 = 770 EBs
Now let’s take in consideration the energy they can accumulate in the beginning of the week and as well the energy they gain in level ups.
Silexu has no pack, thus he can accumulate with all his houses 1230 food fights. Counting 2 full energy at start of the week and two level ups up to 20k Silexu would spare 4x1230 food fights ~ 25 “Epic” EBs.

If we count that he needs to reach almost 32K PP in epic fights in first day so we can count 1 more level up: finally we have ~30 EBs.
The final number for Silexu is ~ 850 EBs.

Packman has packs so with his houses he can be at 3430 (Blitz Pack + Power Pack). Counting 2 full and level ups sum up to 13700 PP, thus saving ~70 “Epic” EBs
The final number for Packman is ~ 700 EBs.

[Update] Fighter Arsenal
So, fighter arsenal brings 200 more energy every hour. That sums up to 4800 per day. In 6 days you gain the equivalence of 24 * 6 = 144 "Epic" EBs. In order to buy them you need ~ 7 10x packs of double energy bars which cost 7*27 ~ 190 Gold. By spending 60 more you get also 100 * 5Mil. + 300 * 1.5 Mil. = 950Mil. Damage. I think you can recover some gold from that. If you use it as TP you can get 9.5k CC. If you use the bombs in the next epic fight for 25CC for example you get around 23k ~ 60G.

[Update 2] I already reached 27700 Prestige Points by consuming almost 500 EBs and 180 double EBs. And remember I am not Packman.
I am thinking if I should buy the Arsenal or only the needed double EB's to reach the 32k milestone. In first case I will fight only food fights in the upcoming epic battles (at least one planned) and recover 240 EBs. If I don't buy the Arsenal I need to buy 120 more EBs (60 double = 150G) to cover remaining 4k PP in the epic battle. I think I will go with first option.
