Hot Air Program - 2 Years In

Day 5,537, 18:23 Published in Canada Canada by Canadian Civil Defence

Hot Air Program has just completed its 104th week, which means the Hot Air Program has officially become 2 years old.

To mark this momentous occasion, we will look at some wonderful stats of the program, as we head into a third year, with just as much success as we have had in the past years, if not more!

Hot Air Program, Year 2, by the numbers:

33,642,371 - The amount of cc handed out through the program! (74.10% increase from previous year)
4,028,671 - The total number of air kills made by participants! (84.96% increase from previous year)
8.9927 - The average payment per kill throughout the year! (0.46% increase from previous year)

Even though payments were increased throughout the year, the way the payment system works, the more kills that are done, the lower the payment per kill will go. With kills growing faster than overall payments as well, the pay per kill grew mostly due to higher payments per kill throughout the year, and several high ranked rank ups.

Other Fun Information:
The 20 millionth dollar was paid in Week 54.
The payment was increased by 25% in Week 61, from 200 cc per square root of kills to 250 cc per square root of kills.
The 25 millionth dollar was paid in Week 65.
The 30 millionth dollar was paid in Week 72.
The payment was increased 20% in Week 77, from 250 cc per square root of kills to 300 cc per square root of kills. The rank payment for Air Commodore was increased to 200k.
The 35 millionth dollar was paid in Week 81.
The payment was increased 16% in Week 89, from 300 cc per square root of kills to the current 350 cc per square root of kills.
The 40 millionth dollar was paid in Week 90.
The 45 millionth dollar was paid in Week 97.
The 50 millionth dollar was paid in Week 101.

By the graph:

Throughout the year, the average pay per week has nearly doubled.

Throughout the year, the average number of kills per week has doubled as well.

Hot Air Program, all time stats:

52,965,331 - The amount of cc handed out through the program!
6,206,815 - The total number of air kills made by participants!

Going Forward

Going Forward, the Hot Air Program continues to be a staple of the eCanadian identity and community. It is the main source of subsidy to citizens, the biggest expense on the government's ledger, and it has proved to be effective in encouraging eCanadians to fight in the air and increase their rank.

At the beginning of the Hot Air Program, most citizens were ranked Chief Master Sergeant or lower. Last year the majority of eCanadians had reached the rank of Wing Commander. Now the majority of Canadians have reached the rank of Group Captain, and a number are now Air Commodore as well.

It is expected that the 55 millionth dollar will be paid out for the Hot Air Program during Week 107.

By getting stronger, eCanada has been able to more easily manage our Training Wars, allowing us to add more training wars than we've ever had before. At the same time, citizens are able to compete more easily for sky hero medals and with more options, eCanadians are able to farm more gold today than they were a year ago.

Here's to another year!
