Greetings from Argentina!
Saludos desde Argentina!

To my hungarian readers:
//Kedves magyar olvasóim! Most tanulmányúton veszek részt Argentínában, s jelen cikkem vendéglátóimnak címzem. Hamarosan jelentkezek újra magyarul is!//

To my host:
When I arrive here, I decided to write an article about the hungarians they are living in Argentina. So, it's my pleasure to introduce...

...the history of the hungarian emigration to Argentina, begun in the 18th century. The name of Orosz László has to be mentioned, who has founded the first argentin Press. Then after the hungarian 1848-49 failed freedomfight some patriot officers has reached Argentina too.
So did Czetz János general, who were one of the founder member of the Military Academy of Argentina... and Asbóth Sándor general, who were the first USA-ambassador in Argentina...

Nowadays 40-50 thousand hungarian live in Argentina. They have arrived to Argentina in three steps: Before and during WWI., then WWII. and after the fail of the hungarian 1956-er revolution. 3/4 of the hungarian live in Buenos Aires, but from 1999 there is a honorary consulate in Bariloche and Rosario too.

In the year of 2004, after 7 years organizing work and some restarts finally it has dedicated a square, named Hungary Square (Plaza Hungria) in Buenos Aires. In the center of the square there is a Székely Kapu (Szekler Gate), with the portrait of Czetz János hungarian patriot general and argentin colonel. The relief has been written both hungarian and spanish...
