Goodbye Canada

Day 1,278, 16:25 Published in Canada Canada by Chucky Norris

I know I know... I just came back two months ago.

But I came to realise something, 4 months ago when I took a break from Canada, I learned an interesting theory, it's that I no longer get any enjoyment out of staying into this country. I could blame it on a lot of factors, but I think that mostly it reside with the fact that I have nothing left to accomplish in this country. There is nothing that I haven't done so far here. I know this does sound incredibly arrogant, but this game being what it is, there isn't that much complexity. So once you've been MoFA, MoD, Part of an Armed group leadership, congressman and President, what else is there to do? That's what I've been wondering for a while. As I said, I can't contribute positevely to this country more than what I did. Sticking around any longer would not bring anything good out of it. It would just take some space so to speak of, everything I wanted to do, I had ample opportunity to do it, and I have absolutely no regret here.

For this very reason, I plan on never coming back to this country in order to keep my enjoyment up. I know people tell you you should never say never, but I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. Due to RL event, I've been forced to rethink my position in this game, and it's either this, or quit the game altogether. I'll go with a soft solution and see if it works. Last time I was off country it did wonders. I don't plan on setting my camp for very long in one place either. A continuous trip should help me keep the interest high for a long time. And who know's, maybe I'll enjoy this new kind of life, maybe I'll just become a gun for hire and goes wherever it pays, as long as I'm shooting in the right direction ofc!

Well see how this one play's out, I've not written down joining an official group either, as some of my friends in the US-ARMY, ST6, EMC and more have offered me to join them. I'm not fixed on it yet. For now, I have a little treasure chest to refill in order to fully prepare the trip, Cheap BH, here I come!

But before I go, there is a few people and group I'd like to thanks. Beside, and this goes for all Canadians, it's not because of the community I'm leaving, it's rather that I need to try something new.

CAF: You've been my family, you've sheltered me in the rought times, no matter how hard people were coming down on me at times, you have always been there for me, unconditionally. No matter how I would mess up, you guys were there to catch me in my fall, and for that I thank you. It's great to know who your friends are when it gets rought. I couldn't possibly name all the soldiers that would deserve a thanks, as their names would fill the articles just by themselves.

Foreign Corp: Thanks to all those who have been dedicated enought to keep it alive, there is great potential there, and I'm sure you will make it out and be a shining beacon of excellence in Canadian's institution.

TCO: Bunch of butts, but I still love ya, well most of you anyway. Don't miss me too much Temujinbc and Francois Pignon!

Politicians: I gotta give a props to all the politicians who have given me some tips on how to do my job (even if it could be sloppy at time 😉 ). Thanks also to all those who I've had the pleasure to see at work, so to Jacobi, William Duncan, Derakor, Jfstpierre, Kelly Mahoney, Etemanski, Kronos_q, Kazuo Leblanc, James Wiens, Dave Pendwyn, goran thrax, Chochi, Kevin Cooper.

MDP: Thanks for running me in the last election, and I'd like to thank Rylde for giving me a free spot in QC. You've been a great chaps to let me run there without any previous commitment toward the party.

Rolo, Ironman, Wes Lewis: Because you gave us something to talk about, yes... I said it.

I'm pretty sure I left some people out, but I didn't wanted to keep you folks waiting with me going on and on about my own life. Anyway, it's been great for what it has been, 2 years of social interaction that were like a roller coaster. I bet I'll still see some of you around.
