The Ice Bucket Challenge is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on someone's head to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourage donations to research.

In the New World, the challenge is a little different. The goal is to help at least 3 young players. (That's 2 gold or MORE per player!)

If a new person needs something specific, they can ask me. The ice bucket thing was dumb, but it was to help actual people with a terrible motor neuron disease. This is just dumb.

Where's the actual information about ALS? What it does, how little we can do for those afflicted, where people can donate...none of that is here.

So no, there's zero awareness coming from this article, nor the others like it.
