It was a quiet week in eAustralia with only few things happening. So what happened last week?

Congress Election

Without any proper campaign or media activity, congress election were held on September, 15th. With 22 out of 81 vote (27,16😵 Australian Dempocratic Party and KnightHawks Military Council won the election. In reality, only one party was the winner of this election. Although winning 27,16% of vote, they have won 33% of congress. On other hand, KHMC won only 21%.

The reason for that is that there were less people running for congress then the total number of seats in our congress. Why do you think that happened? Let me know in comments.

eAustralia – eIndonesia War

There were two battles this week. One in Sumatra and another in Maluku Islands.

Sumatra

Australian CP Rusty decided we should fight for Indonesia in this one in order to give them back the region. The reasons for this decision is still unknown to public.

Here is the full statement:

Maluka Islands

Nothing special with this one. Battle orders were to fight for Australia. With score 97 – 24 eAustralia defended its region (Indonesian core region) and Maluku islands remain part of eAustralia.

That's a pretty big statement. The ADP had at least 3 election related articles in the news during the week leading up to the elections. Also the APP published their candidates' names and offered to take in temporarily anyone who wanted to run that was not a member of a top 5 party.

It might be constructive if you tell us what you'd like to see in terms of "proper" campaign activity. Perhaps you'd publish an article outlining the questions you'd like aspiring congress persons to answer, in advance of the next election.

I think most of us would be happy to answer your questions. And healthy political debate is always welcome. 🙂

I am trying to catch up on some work and am hoping to do an article tonight before I crash and burn... otherwise it will be postpone.
