Operation Wipe

Since our dearest friends in CODE misunderstood 'Plato changing the game to let someone survive' as 'we fought for our freedom', we made a small bet with CODE HQ: who could wipe the most Andes or CODE. Unfortunately for us, we were unsuccessful and were unable to beat them. During our operation, we were only able to wipe 1 member of CODE/ANDES, but, due to their hard work and diligent fighters, CODE/ANDES successfully completetd 2 full wipes, and 2 area wipes. On behalf of all Asteria HQ, we would like to congratulate CODE on their hard work and efforts, and as agreed we will donate 69cc to the country accouts of each CODE/ANDES member government. To Argentina, Brazil (full wipes), Croatia, France, Slovenia, Hungary and Cyprus (area wipes), we would like to apologise for the cruel actions of CODE and Andes in wiping you totally, or partially. We did our best to beat them, but unfortunately they were quicker than us, so wiped you before we had a chance. I'm sure in the coming days we will be able to get a chance to right this heinous act of audacity. The Asteria position as #1 wiper of CODE and Andes should not be questioned, and in future I hope CODE will be able to leave some CODE members on the map so we can wipe them. It is not fair to take advantage of game mechanics and wipe yourselves, so please stop cheating and doing this before we can. Although you are united under the banner of CODE, we hope this banner can manage to stay on the map and fight, instead of run away and hide off the map.

Leaving of France

Over the last few days, after ANDES removed them from South America, the Former Bulgarian Republic of White Flag broke an understanding with Asteria HQ, and the peace deal with Bulgaria, and began to consollidate members of the wipeCODE alliance in their cores. There was also an incident involving a kurza. To be clear, as the effective owner and controller of the Former Bulgarian Republic of White Flag, ASTERIA HQ reserves the right to make all decisions regarding the affairs of the area unilaterally, without negotiation and without notification. As such, I am pleased to announce that the Former Bulgarian Republic of White Flag as of this very moment, officially leaves the CODE alliance. Inkeeping with the gameplay and tactics of their previous "government" and "leaders", FBRWF will apply to join the Pacifica alliance. Any country which wishes to enter FBRWF cores, should try to avoid the previous mistakes and seek official permission from Asteria HQ. Failure to do so will result in immediate 'unseen comeback'.

Applications for TW, resource concessions or MPPs should be made in writing to Asteria HQ, who will respond within 3 working days with a decision.

To the real French population, although your leaders claim that they have total power over French politics, and can do whatever they like and whenever they like, there is still time for a peace deal to be made. The requirements of this have already been communicated with your Government-in-exile, however at this moment they are unwilling to negotiate.

Future Endeavours

We do not and we will never forget who dared to toy with us in our darkest period. CODE might 'never forget the opposite' but we don't really know what that means. Despite the new event obviously being a way to try to get CODE more active and buying packs, their shift to 'shoutbox warfare' continues. The dramatic periods that saw Asteria conquer the world, will continue. Why? Because we can.

Even though Plato changed the game to favour CODE, and try to tempt them back into spending euros, we remain as the prime force of power. Even though the event was used to try to get CODE to return, and kill Asteria communities with too many medals, too many BH and too much gold. We will do our best to counter this.

However, the biggest threat to Asteria remains the CODE alliance. First and foremost, every article that is released is so hard to understand, many people reading it simply quit the game in confusion. Secondly, the inability for CODE to help each other (ignoring of course sending bots to fight in air) has made even the few enjoyable parts of this game, the war module, boring. Thirdly, and finally, the fact that three separate CODE/Andes nations have approached Asteria for peace deals, shows that ultimately, there is no effective friendship or bonds remaining. In response to this, Asteria HQ has agreed upon a template for such negotiations. To ensure fairness and equality, instead of replying in private, we will make the requirements for a peace deal known.

There is 1 space available, for CODE and 1 space available for ANDES in a peace deal with Asteria. Of course, the Former Bulgarian Republic of White Flag is not included, as this is already a region of Asteria. Instead of offering peace and to leave your alliance, as the three current applicants have done so, we would like to make our base requirements public in the form of a template. The 1 CODE and 1 ANDES nation who makes the best offer will receive the peace deal. The rest will remain as targets.

1. Immediate leaving of your alliance, and application to join Orion or Pacifica.
2. Closing of all CODE/ANDES TW, and full retreat to your core regions where you will host no less than 2 (two) Asteria countries for TW, resources or other possibilities at our request.
3. 12 month trading embargo on Former Bulgarian Republic of White Flag as symbolic act of good faith, to show confidence and support of the new Asteria controlled government.

Based on the above template, further points can be added to make your application more enticing. Please note due to the expected volumes of applications, we will not be providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates. The deadline for applications is 02:00 eRepublik time August 19th.
Message to all our players and friends:
For your own physical and mental health, please do not read CODE articles, nor listen to shoutbox-tears. We know and appreciate the strain that 'New CODE tactics' puts on your eyes, but Plato hade made it clear that the price for stopping them, is an end to free tokens. As such, we must endure.
