eAustralia is growing, and the Mentors Team needs to grow too!

The team’s mission is to assist new eAustralians at or below Level 25 to find the tools they need to succeed in the game. Mentors provide new citizens with links to important articles and initiatives such as the JDS, and help new citizens find the information they need to get past the “black spot” of the low 20’s levels.

If you are at or above Level 26, active, and want to encourage eAustralia’s youth, please comment or PM a team member (listed below). You need not be rich, but you must be kind—no trolls or pervs, please (kind of weird is ok though).

The requirements are simple: You will be responsible for sending friend requests and PM’s to your assigned newbies. You must know basic game mechanics so you can help with their questions. You will need to contact them occasionally, and update a Google spreadsheet. You must be proficient in English; other language skills are most welcome!

Finally, we would like to streamline the current system for assisting eAustralia’s young players. To that end, we propose to start a thread including mentors, DoEE members, and JDS management following the next CP election. This will facilitate communication and reduce the duplication of efforts. Hey, some days nobody even knows who is new around here!
