Hello eIndia,

For all the new players, most countries in eRepublik have their own external forums and eIndia has had one for the most part too. However, when my generation of old players left the game together, the forum died because they were the ones operating it.

Me and Nandan have worked hard to revive the forum (www.forum.erepindia.com) over the last few days. Nandan even made a separate forum but that domain was banned in some countries and slow in others, so we ended up deciding to revive the old one since its BEAUTIFUL!!

Because of bots posting spam on the forum, me and Nandan decided to implement manual registration till we can find a way to update the security feature (requires contacting the old admins, I am working on that). However, my time zone is GMIT -4 and Nandan's is GMT +5:30, so we have you covered almost 24x7, so expect registration within 24 hours of submitting a request.

Finally, why do we need a forum???
1) Congress discussions are WAY more structured on a forum, no one can deny that. Message threads get about 100 messages a day. I rarely get to read all those all the time because I am like WTF! You can have separate threads for every single issue and they are available for future reference if you want to see what went wrong or are looking to blame someone 😛

2) A lot of things that we currently post in the media are not things we would like our enemies to gaze on. The forum has controlled access, there is stuff that you can see without logging in and I can post stuff that only I can see too. We can have party subforums as we used to have long ago. There are endless possibilities to explore.

3) Anyone can propose anything they want even if they are not in the congress and can get input from everyone in a structured way.

4) Not everyone can be online on IRC at the same time always and how many message threads are you going to make!! Let's just be on the forum. You can post when you feel like, you can reply to the reply to a reply, etc.

5) There are many customization options there like polls and much more. So, we can actually count how many people agree or disagree instead of just 2-3 people saying, "Yeah, that sounds good"

6) I can go on forever about the uses of a forum but I should stop now. There is a treat: We have awesome smileys there!



It is one of those things that you need to experience to actually appreciate its power. So, register now and let's make eIndia more lively and fun for everyone. We don't want to just discuss taxes and plan RWs all the time. Let's use some fun smileys!!
