eRepublik Gold is a fictional currency used in the eRepublik World. It is used to buy additional features within eRepublik.
How to get gold
There are different ways to get Gold.
1. Buy gold once a week
2. Buy it on the monetary market in exchange for local currencies.
3. As Reward. Achieving achievements ( 5 GOLD), leveling up ( 1 GOLD).
4. Having an invited friend get any gold rewards, such as Hard Worker or Leveling up (Receive 10% of their reward).
5. Having an invited friend buy gold (Receive 10% of the gold value bought).

Simplified

1. You can buy gold only once a week using real life money.
2. Sell your local currency for gold
3. completing an achievement such as getting 250 strength levels or working 30 days in a row.
4. By inviting a friend by posting a referal link any gold that they get through method 3 you get 10% of that for free.
5. A freind you invited thorugh referal link gets gold through method 1 you get 10% of that gold

What can you do with gold?
Political
1. Creating a political party (Cost: 40 Gold) Requires level 13 or higher
2. Nominating yourself for party president elections (Cost: 2 Gold - goes directly into party account) Requires level 13 or higher
Economical
1. Buying various currencies through the Monetary Market (Cost: varies) (requires level 15or higher)
2. Creating a company (Cost: 20 Gold) (level 14 or higher)
3. Buying a company (Cost: varies) (requires level 11 or higher)
4. Buying an export license for your company (cost: 20 or 5 gold) (requires company)
5. Upgrading your company's customization level upgrade (cost: varies, minimum: 20 Gold)(requires company)
Military
1. Starting an official war (cost: minimum 200 Gold) or a resistance war (cost: minimum 50 Gold)
2. Signing an alliance (cost: 100 Gold for each of the two countries)

The Battlefield booster is used on the Battlefield when attacking an enemy. It automatically kills your enemy.
Rocket Launcher: 1 GOLD
Other
1. Improving your health (cost: 0.5 Gold)
2. Creating a newspaper (cost: 2 Gold) (requires level 9)

What not to do with gold!!
Although you can use gold for all the above some are just a rip-off.
1. Creating a party.
yes it is a rip-off as you can simply take a party with a low unactive amount of members. then join the party and run for Party president paying 2 gold not 40 gold. Then vote for yourself. Make sure it is an unactive party with no one is running against you then no one can win but you.
2. Health pack.
a health pack gives the same amount of health as a Q5 food or 5 Q1 foods. Both are much cheaper than the health pack.
