EDEN or what?

Day 1,287, 17:18 Published in Croatia Croatia by Dagislav

Let's summarize:

Australia – down under, and no one cares
China – still going strong
Canada – also going strong
Finland – visible on the map and that is unusual
Norway – also on the map, cannot go anywhere
Romania – erased
Ukraine – will be erased
Croatia – strong and clueless
Italy – erased
Bosnia and Herzegovina – erased
Greece – having troubles
Ireland – bogged down
Bulgaria – having troubles.

Ladies and gentlemen, let’s face the music: the EDEN is impotent, and the last pillars are either completely clueless, or bogged down. China and Canada can make a difference, while the rest is either marooned, or completely stunned.

There are several ways to move on.

First, we can dissolve the brotherhood that (for all practical purposes) ceased to exist when the two main players - namely: Spain and Poland – defected. Completely rational. The alliance serves no purpose, let it die.

Second, approach TERRA, and rejuvenate the auld alliance. Depends on the diplomacy and pure chance, along with the dealings with the arrogant USA, being quietly PTOed by Turkey.

Third, stick with the remnants, accept a probationary member here and there, and pray for the better future.

==========

Being a Croat, I have to make some remarks on Croatian policy, though.

It is a shame that the Croatian public was not promptly informed on the deal with Serbia, but the private journalists had to do it. I know. I did it.

It is a shame that the last strong country of EDEN, namely Croatia (at least, the one who provided the muscle for the alliance), is marooned, and has no idea what to do whatsoever. The influence is spilled all over the place, and no one cares. The official orders are obsolete the moment they are issued, if they are issued at all.

It is a shame that the most vocal proponent of the peace with Serbia is Fabius, who – although hailed as the saviour of the nation (admittedly by myself, too) during his mandate as the President of Croatia – was singularly silent during his mandate. I wish he was half as eloquent then, as he is now.

It is a shame that we sold our collective Croatian eBaby (Bosnia-Herzegovina), and for cheap. It could have been made a bastion of our EDEN allies, with migrations of friendly citizens into its regions, securing it from the perpetual PTOs, but the chance is now lost for good.

Best Regards, and have fun in the New World!
