Eastern Macedonia

Day 2,194, 17:22 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by The Baron Samedi

I love medals and decorations, 'cause they are a huge boost to my e-peen, so I've been hunting for the new one. Nonetheless, I also wanted the old RW medal as well. Never got it, and thanks to the high CO's this past few days and the tickets, I was filthy rich with 1000 CC (Yes, I'm poor, stop laughing).

You know. Two ducks, one shot... whatever.

So, while touring around Greece, I notice this fine 9 fellows gathered in the Eastern Macedonia region, asking for help. The promised an easy win, and that's all I needed to hear: 5 gold (new medal) + won RW (another 5 gold) + huge e-peen boost + the feeling of contributing to the liberation of the oppressed descendants of Alexander the Great!

How could I say no?

Notice how I hide their names and origin with great skill, so they cannot be identified by the greek death squads.
You are welcome, noble freedom fighters!

Still, of course, 1000 CC is a lot of money. That's pretty much almost 5 gold!
I needed assurances, how could I be sure the Alexanders were to fight on this particular RW? Thus, they pointed out that thanks to Determination, RW's just got so much easier, and Eastern Macedonia multiplier was probably going to be around 5.0/6.0!

I was finally going to beat this game out for some serious gold, damnit.
"I'm in", I told them.

...

Still, only just a few minutes ago, Greece was able to smash the rebellion (the bastards!). I find myself cheated out of 1000 CC, no freedom for the oppressed Eastern Macedonia populace, and my faith in humanity shattered, for I just learned that Eastern Macedonia's bonus to determination was actually the lowest of all regions in the area.

I should totally be able to sue the Skopje goverment for my 1000 CC, damnit.

Yes, I screwed up, I know. Still... I financed their revolution! I know they lost and may not get a congress this months (my hearts goes to them, though they probably are not that mad because bureacracy sucks in all ecountries) but there should be some sort of compensation for the investors!

I obviously blame Plato, of course.
Anyway, at least those 9 bastards also lost their money. That helps a bit.
