As of about a week ago, I've decided to run for congressional office in the state of Wyoming under the Federalist Party.

For those of you who don't know me, I've been playing since day 551 and have been apart of the Federalist party as well as the military for most of that time. I went immediately into the Mobile Infantry. I was admitted to the Mobile Infantry as a private on June 2nd, and was assigned to B4. Eventually I was promoted to CO of B7. After that I was promoted to the QMG of the Mobile Infantry. I am currently the Commanding Executive officer of Charlie Company.

My platform is simple enough and hopefully not nearly as tl;dr as most:

THE MILITARY
As you may have been able to guess, much of what I would like to support in congress is related to the military. I love that this country places liberation above conquest, even now we're fighting hard in the far east to help out countries that have been occupied for as long as I can remember. I personally would like to see what can be done about sending more funding to the various branches, and you'll never see me fail to support a war that liberates our friends and frees the oppressed.

I am however strongly opposed to senseless wars of conquest, especially when our friends still need our help. Where we fight our wars and why, is of huge importance to this country, and I feel my term in the military makes me quite able to make decisions regarding how this country fights. We don't want to set ourselves up with a ton of MPPs against again the way we did leading up to WWIII.

THE ECONOMY
On the whole I prefer free trade policies, and lower import taxes, though I also recognize the fact that our businesses need protections. There exist monetary policies that protect american business without the useof tariffs however, such as where we peg the USD at. Overall though I think each tax increase and decrease needs to be taken on an individual basis, the Economic Council (Really Smart Guys) knows whats going on and I plan on listening to them before making my decisions. I do not confess to knowing much about how taxes work, and I plan on leaving that to the people who understand it.

FOREIGN RELATIONS
First off, I love our allies. The Canadians, Croats, Greeks, North Koreans, and many others; they're all awesome and I hope to fight with them for many months to come. Its obvious we need to maintain our strong ties with these guys and at the same time reach out to smaller nations that ask for our help. Many countries joined Phoenix simply for protection. Hungary combined with Russia and Indonesia can offer a lot to a small nation if they feel they need protection and have no where else to look. This is simply a lesson from eHistory, we need to stay strong in our opposition to imperialism and as long as we do that I think we'll be much more likely to garner favor among small countries.
