Defending our Political System

Hello America,
As most of you know, our country has been fighting a PTO attempt from foreign political operatives for the majority of our existence. Over the past 6 or so months, we have made great progress in this realm. The rogue group has been primarily marginalized, and kept under control. In order to ensure our political system remains free from foreign influence, and malcontents, we must push the advantage and not let the enemy get back onto their feet.
Therefore, I am asking for your vote this February 15th, as Party President in this party: http://www.erepublik.com/en/party/-4550/1
The party is currently titled the American Freedom Alliance, however, the serbians (and their fellow conspirators) have been known to attempt to camouflage the party in attempts to fool us. However, we are better than that. So, be mindful of any party name changes.

Eh, in all honesty, as time goes on, the whole thing seems more and more silly to me, but I'm not in charge here. lol
Do you think you are a good human being? Because it really boggles me how people like you can actually think you are benevolent.

It's compartmentalized thinking. It's a coping mechanism that people use to lessen cognitive dissonance. People simply separate their real life selves from their game personas. Unfortunately, this has both positive and negative consequences (like allowing people to do pretty awful things in this game that they'd never do in real life without batting an eyelash about it). It's the whole, "It's just a game" idea.
In all honesty though, I doubt most of these people would be mean to you if you ever met in real life (though they might not be particularly hospitable either).
For me personally though, I'm still wondering how your bid for congress is going. If you actually end up moving to Charleston for it, we might have to meet up for lunch the next time I'm down that way.

We are offering friendship and integrating in the country, we stopped our cooperation with RGR (which was the condition which Frost gave to us to stop the PTO actions) and you still want to take our party from us?
