We know the bug deleted many congressional candidates, unfortunately.
There are a total of 35 candidates for congress, and they can all get in, if the percentages are right. With 5 definitely empty seats, we can give a 2.5% buffer to all five parties. Ideally the results look like this...
Eire Aonair - 15%
Independent Labour Party - 27.5%
Socialist Republican Party - 25%
Irish Freedom Party - 27.5 %
The Left Hand of Ireland - 5%
Find the current percentages from someone who has already voted. Then vote for whichever party is farthest below their target number. If we work together as a nation, we can get all the candidates in, and have a nearly-full congress.
I apologize to everyone for not advocating independent voting as is my usual custom. But, these are odd circumstances, and an opportunity. I think if we can get everyone in, that's the most neutral choice of all. Having more voices is always better for a robust debate. You never know who may be able to chime in to a discussion with a salient point. We have the opportunity this month to not leave anyone out (though the admins certainly did).

Every 2.5% of the vote is a seat in the dail.
Right now, the EA has 25%, and 5 candidates (12.5😵. That means they account for 5 empty congress seats if elections ended right now. Hopefully nobody else votes for EA to get their percentage down to 15. If all the bugged parties organize thier voters to avoid "overvoting" we can have a nearly-full congress. There are only 35 total candidates after all, so we can't reach 40.
So, vote for the smaller parties, yes?
If you want to support this initiative, then vote for the party farthest below their target percent listed above.
At the moment, the IFP is the farthest. It is 10% below the goal.

There have been far bigger failures by eRep in my opinion. But, this certainly isn't one of their brighter moment. At least we can make the best of a bad situation.
If they would at least admit it was a bug, instead of denying it, they'd get a lot more credit from me. As it is, they're just proving themselves to be inept.

Great advice Bhane... I know the results are about an hour away, but was it close to optimum near the end?
I'd guess IFP will end up losing two seats, so we'll probably have a Dail of 34, possibly 35.

3 candidates did not end up making it. 2 from the IFP, and one from ILP.
Considering more than half votes were in before I wrote this article, I think Ireland cooperated rather well. We made the best of a bad situation.

What debate in congress? Just a bunch of hypocrites gibberish empty phrases...with few honourable exception.... No purpose except roleplaying false importance while doing nothing... 7000 golds stolen...no one debate about it Sweet as CP giving Ireland lands to british invaders without any ressistance Bhane faking national referendum to rent irish lands for money he later gave to non irish and inactive citizens.
So tell us Bhane..why did you fake irish referendum to rent irish lands?
And while you are here Bhane tell us why did you give most of that rent money to non irish and inactive citizens(multis)?
Coz now it looks like you severely damaged Ireland with your actions as CP...
