Hey, Ive been in UCP for long and I support Georgie, I think people were angry not because of George himself but because of negative comments about them.

You have to understand that the people of UCP have worked very hard for many months, without any benefit (nobody stole a single cc, or weapon) for the benefit of the island.

Even if its their time to not be elected, the members of this community should have some respect.

If not towards them personally, then to the hours of work they put in order for eCyprus to have a functioning government that could provide a stable economy, bonuses, battles, and campaigns.

Everyone has to understand that when you have a daily routine, almost like a job, then your desire for being random and trolling all the time is less, and you start being more serious, like someone who feels responsible for his friends or loved ones.

Thus I urge the community not to be mean because some people lost their patience when confronted with insults, but to understand and cheerish the fact that some people put so much of their time for all of us.

Also anything xam says is disregarded because he is counterproductive.

so by your words i understand that it is the end of MONOPOLY and now others get their chance.

No George, this is a divisive comment, you don't want to be I think I divisive President because that would make Cypriots happy and you don't seem like a bad individual.

I am saying that people have worked hard and its important not to be mean to them. A monopoly implies that people took power by force, they were voted for long because they were the best for the job.

Also No.Name said officially not to vote for him and he didn't run for President.

I advise you George to make an article saying that there are no hard feelings and that we are all Cypriots brother and sisters, and take back any bad things you've said about UCP.

Then believe me, and I am sure, the UCP people will realise that they were too much in their reaction and we will all be united again.

You think that because UCP lost the elctions UCP decided not to support george... However things are different... you (as in general) started talking about democracy and dictator... about doing whatever etc... then george comes to UCP asks to be candidate... UCP agrees.. then george comes back... saying UCP is dictatoring the island and he doesn't want the help... then he gets elected and he continues this with dictatorship and that democracy in now here...

And then he accuse people who acuused them as dictators for not helping him... and the funny thing is that UCP is accused again for this? Find me the logic here please....

OK, send me an article, a mass message, something, that was public domain, accessible to any citizen that that work was discussed. And how you define "Benefit" of the island? Was something we talked and all together decided or what some think should be?

And i reply to you because i think you are not part of the power trio and you genuinely care about Cyplus.

@pipo thing is that many citizens here are not logic...
When we talk about politic in articles, nobody really care about it (we can not blame em for that), when you ask for gov members, no one is really willing to come and work (again, not blamable), in congress group messages, many congress members never speak and never comment gov decision.
And after, some of them (not all) say power has been tooken away from them and stuff.
Doing articles about little things that we actually dont communicate about is long, and if no one reacts to it, then its useless and we'd better use this time to work on more important things.
Other actions were most of the time discussed in mass PMs and even in articles sometimes. But also we can not say everything in the press due to our ennemies. We are an english-speaking community and our infos could be stolen easily.
Maybe high council is a good idea, i never used it, but i can swear that people really interested in politics can easily get in congress and have all the infos needed, or just ask gov members if they dont want to run in the congress.
Important decisions were not decided without public consent.
If you want an example, when we had the opportunity to enter adriatica, there was a referendum, public for every citizen.

I am an active player that always haz an opinion and so on. I am not in congress because either i dont candidate or when i candidate party prez sends me down the list or when like now will PTO a party of fascist griks.

High Council was more or less the pm we have now but we talked about everything, hardly agreed on anything but had one opinion towards the rest of the world that was the majorities opinion. It was like 300 messages per day. We also had sex together.

I started to regret voting for George because since he is elected all the articles and group messages in our country become longer and longer and in my opinion its just time consuming bullshit.
