Crossroads
Saiwun
Good evening eAustralia,
In this intriguing political atmosphere that our society finds ourselves in, I find that I must raise concern. For the past few months now, it seems that activity and political concern has deteriorated to a point of apathy: is there anybody left to fight for this system?
Perhaps it is premature to write off the Viado Celtru/Callumh coalition, hopefully they shall put their government in order soon and establish political communication.
Let me instead address the term of Raphael Saints:
During his last 7 days in office, Raphael failed to train. It it not an unreasonable assumption that he failed to log in. Durning his term, not one governmental article was published, aside from a few fleeting DoD articles.
I am cautious to condemn Raphael, I did not personally know him, and there exists a wide range of valid and perfectly reasonable explanations as to why he was unable to log in during his term, after all, real life is more important that eLife. 'Judge not, lest you be judged'. However, no cabinet was publicly published, and those appointed in game failed to step up. There seemed to be an apathy, nobody claimed responsibility or attempted to keep this running over until the next elections.
Luckily, this term, if we find ourselves in a similar situation, we have the "impeach" option available to us, and a 'protective military coup' will not be necessary.
We are on thin ice:
2.1 million CC had gone missing from the RBA. There has been no public update on the situation, and there are only a few people in a position to access the needed information from admin.
We are still engaged in a loosing war against Peru, despite their government's willingness to talk withan Australian government.
The public are kept in the dark. We have not seen a proper Foreign Affairs update in months, DoD orders are few and far between, we do not even know who our government is composed of.
At the moment, we are at a crossroad. Does somebody step up, or do we go gentle into that good night?
Our community may be divided, but, for the sake of our eNation, should we not all put away our ego, our pride and our grudges. If we cooperate instead of staying in the shadows, if we move on, we can take the right pathway.
Disclaimer: I do not mean to upset or cause offence- See this as merely a prompt in the right direction.
Any eAussies, just comment for 15 Q7 weapons, hopefully that will help with your DOs.

why don't you impeach ?
Would be the realistic choice actually. Considering Mac Vasco is Spanish and can communicate with Peru better.
While there is good precedent for impeach, like when you were and things were much better. Viado is around a ton, things like the RBA is slow moving because it relies on the ability of admins to get around to things.
I suggest start getting angry with the Admins, worked for me most of the time if they didn't reply. They are complete fools especially on a situation like this..
Crossroads? 😃
I think you choose the wrong path somewhere around here: https://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/Australia/182463

Definitly one of the worst decisions of Australia ever.
They got PTOed by Croatia , they can come back to us tho , not late yet .
Someone from Australia needed to approve Don & Co passports and give them power. It wasn't me. Not my decision. What did you expect from his crew when you let em in? To get you closer to Asteria? 😃
I am not saying it is too late but it is how it is.
Why go to Asteria? We were close to them while they sold Australia out to Peru
I always wondered why someone from Ireland is interfering into Australian Politics every time there's an article.
Rusty is interested cuz he was one of the leaders in Australia for a long time.
I didn't say you should go to Asteria but if you invite Don and his crew in you can expect only one thing. I am not here to judge you, I have no right to do that just saying.
Thanks @chops, plus since I have my holding companies here, my job ads are here (think work tax) as well as having Orgs and an MU here, I do find the happenings in eAustralia interesting.
I understand Don and Co might have baggage, pretty much every player has some sort of baggage. But that's where congress/cabinet need to exercise discretion. For example Peru crying because Sam came here to help out. I have known Sam in game for many years, I know that he is good at his job and he knows not to push a different agenda (like he was accused of).
The game is ailing, so experienced players are hard to find. But I agree with you, if they have baggage it needs to be taken into account.
I understand you Rusty, I do really. I understand why you did it but I was kinda disappointed back, didn't expect that 🙁
:-?
😞 my friends! me sad.
Send help please, Shawtyl0w. :/

Just out of curiosity, how long have we been occupied?
Around 4 Months, maybe slightly longer.
I think it started before I returned which was about October last year
We had 2 countries occupying us. First Hungary and than Peru, so yeah a little bit longer than 4 months.
6 months ago our daily incomes were 10 000 AUD and even more
Right now they are 200 to 500 AUD

Its going on six months with occupation. Id rather not have a repeat of indonesia again. Yet it seems like this is the way things are going..
Seems things have fell apart.
Hoping things get better for everyone 🙂
