Couple of things regarding the UK situation

Day 2,421, 09:09 Published in Serbia Serbia by Dio Maximus

I've been on a self-imposed hiatus from this game in the last couple of months, and honestly couldn't bother to read through the all kinds of retarded articles spawned by the increasingly retarded Satan's butthole that is Serbian media today. However, I just came across a quite interesting and essentially well intended article written by Hostilian regarding the PTO situation in the UK.

I'm not surprised that the PTO team managed to get a good chuck of congress. There are lots of players who are in fact quite experienced with these kind of operations who are involved in the current PTO of the United Kingdom. There are couple of things that need to be mentioned first. I don't think this PTO is beneficial for Serbia at all, taking into account our (mostly friendly) history with the UK. This all started when UK ''switched sides'' and decided to stick with Poland instead of Serbia. At that moment that was a fine strategic decision on behalf of eUK's government. Poland was right on UK's doorstep, in France to be precise and everything seemed that Serbia is going to be buttraeped by a proposed mega-alliance that was forming against it in December/January during and after the collapse of TWO.

That however wasn't the motivation for most Serbian players to PTO the country. Instead was the newly found and quite weird (major understatement) ''brotherhood' with Croatia, Albania and USA to some extent. This was perceived as a major stab in the back and a betrayal of epic proportions, which essentially (leaving the melodrama aside) probably was.

Most of the influential players who have cherished and nurtured good relations with their Serb/British counterparts have left the game or are currently in 2clickin' hibernation for quite some time. So it was somewhat natural as well to see the new cadre of players launch attack on their perceived enemy and traitor.

I'll probably see a lot of comments that this is ''good'' for the Serb cause and that this will cripple/sway another Sirius country to our side, but I see this completely counterproductive. From what I know there was a number of people who were against or at least skeptical toward the involvement of the United Kingdom in Sirius, and who considered Serbia as a friend. Now even if the PTO succeeds, an entire (formerly friendly) nation will be completely banded together against Serbia and not the mention the implications of this PTO on a larger, international scale. We've been branded as a nation of PTOers and cheaters along with that due to the extremely large amount of PTO's in progress or attempted in the recent history. That's fucking retarded in my honest opinion. There is nothing of benefit for Serbia if eUK is PTOed, and if the PTO establishes itself as a major political power there. Not to mention, while I'm personally against PTO's in general, there are at least a couple of other nations who warrant PTO operations before the UK.

I've been in Pakistan for quite some time and fought against several PTO attempts, and honestly I find absolutely no fun in that kind of gaming. There wasn't a major PTO attempted in ages, for instance if this was a legitimate way of playing the game, why not attempt to PTO Chile for instance or a nation who has larger population. Ofc, that's not feasible because it requires skill, organization and manpower. It's easier to do some seal clubbing in Pakistan, UK or some other smaller nation.

Some of my countrymen will work up all kinds of creative excuses how this is legitimate and cool. Newsflash: It's not, it's f-in' retarded and annoying to everyone. Some of us remember what the Croats did to Serbia 5 years ago. But they are evil right? We're just being global peacemakers and helping out the dissidents of the UK...just like we did in the USA alligning with Ajay who is a terrible human being, but no one bothered to check his background, and those who did essentially went ''f+ck it it's for the greater good''.

But is it?
