Congressional Elections, position paper #4

Day 582, 12:38 Published in USA USA by PigInZen

This is the fourth in a series of articles outlining in detail my stances on what I consider to be the important issues of the day. This entry will deal with interparty and intercitizen relations, general civic discourse and how divergent opinions actually makes us stronger.

From my platform:

"4. I desire to promote internal American infrastructure development (and that of Massachusetts in particular). This is a common campaign promise and I will not exclude myself from it because I actually believe that internal development that allows citizens to fight from their home states is an important one."

Short but sweet. The aim of this policy is to bring improvements in the form of hospital and defense systems. I will not state that my goal is to bring a Q5 hospital to Massachusetts. There are reasons given for our current infrastructure strategy in the US, most notably the easy availability of moving tickets to relocate to a region with a high-quality hospital. By stacking our defenses in limited regions we increase the defense quality of those regions, making it harder to defeat us.

My policy is that any infrastructure improvement in Massachusetts would be done in conjunction with greater infrastructure planning for the US. In such an event I would lobby hard on behalf of my constituents for improvements.
