For the first time in about a year, I can honestly say that this Congress has been a good experience. There's been minimal spam, no trolling (at least on the message thread I'm in, due to game mechanics we have two threads and a couple of people on both who transmit info back and forth) and good, sensible discussions.
Kudos to our team!
And yes, I'm standing to be in Congress again. I'd like to see new faces, but we also need people with experience in various aspects of the game and the odd "adult" to quell any unpleasantness (which kept a few of us very busy in the past, but no need this past month).
Please, if you are interested, contact our party leadership for information and to start learning all that is involved. If you don't intend to be an active part, don't stand. We've had people in the past who took office and we never heard from them again - even one who took office and promptly moved citizenship elsewhere!
There are benefits, but there is also responsibility, so please take it seriously.

Agreed - this last Congressional Term has been one of the smoother ones; the 'Benevolent Dictatorship' appears to be functioning well at present. Finances and MPPs have been largely restored and are in a good state of maintenance too. All of our pre-MKD bonuses are in place and we appear to have been reasonably successful in attracting business (and associated tax revenues) to eUK.
In summary - a good solid job of Government - let's aim to carry on the good work for another term!
