An Opening, and a Persuasion

Greetings fellow eCanadians!

I apologize ahead of time for the rushed demeanor of this, my first and hopefully not entirely repulsive article. I am new to eRepublik, with only a few months under my belt, but I have become fascinated by its workings. In fact, I spend more than 12 hours each day delving into its mechanisms. I have become active in the workings of my MU, Independent Legion, which I am now 2nd Commander, and proud to be a part of that awesome community.

However, this wonderful night of the 1,556th, I have decided that I have been missing out on something that I should not be. Yes, I am talking about the political race. I wish to run for Congress.

I know that I am but a toddler to the giants that have graced this community for many more months, and even years, than I have. But know this, I do not consider myself to be hindered in relation to these seasoned individuals in any way that could be avoided. In fact, I believe that my inexperience, my raw untainted youthfulness, could be greatly beneficial to this great country. I will offer my strong sense of Justice, my unwavering Loyalty, my melodramatic Personality, my surprising Kindness, and my irresistible Beauty, to eCanada and her citizens.

And with that said, however measly it may be, I would ask that you not only welcome me to the political frontier, but consider me for your vote for this term's Congress.
