A Little Bit about Myself

Day 1,277, 13:51 Published in USA USA by Evry

Hey guys,

I'm running for congress in the state of New Hampshire under the USWP banner for the month of May.

I wanted to let you know a little bit about myself, what I've done, and what I hope to accomplish by being a congressman.

Who I am currently;

I'm currently the Chairman of the Economic Council. This places me in charge of expressing the consensus opinion of the Economic Council (EC) to congress, the executive branch, and the people. The EC is essentially a group of economic gurus who collaborate on the forums and on IRC in order to find the best solution for various economic problems plaguing the country. We provide advice to congress and the executive branch on how we think they should proceed in regards to the economy and economy-related matters. This has given me valuable experience in communicating and interacting with high profile citizens and ensuring the country's economy is looked after.

I'm also currently a Colonel in the eUS Armed Forces. This is the country's national military. My position is as Commanding Officer of the First Division of the Army. This places me in command of roughly 150 soldiers. This means I'm in charge of ensuring they are supplied, taken care of, and that their problems and questions are solved and answered. This has given me great experience in dealing with a large number of people and making things run smoothly. If you are interested in joining the eUS Armed Forces, PM me and I'll get you an application link!

In addition, I'm currently a Regional Director for the State Department. This places me in charge of a handful of ambassadors who are responsible for interacting with foreign governments and reporting back on US relations with their assigned country. I look after the ambassadors and ensure all the countries are being taken care of appropriately.

Lastly, I'm the eUS ambassador to the Philippines. This makes me responsible to communicate and interact with the Philippine government and report back to the state department on the state of the relations between our countries as well as build these relations further.

While I currently hold various interesting positions, I've also held numerous others in the past.

For the last 5 months I was the Secretary of the Treasury. This made me the liason between the President and the Economic Council. I expressed the Presidents' concerns and wishes to the EC and then worked with the EC to find a solution which was then brought back to the President. I also was responsible for reforming the EC into its current form back a few months ago as part of my position as Secretary of the Treasury.

Over a year and a half ago, I was in fact a congressman for 2 consecutive terms. I served out both terms admirably and helped lead this country as a member of the legislative branch. While conress has in fact changed quite drastically over the past months, my position as a member of the EC has given me access to congress and allowed me to view how congress works now and I feel like I'd know exactly what was happening at all times.

Before joining the eUS Armed Forces I held numerous positions in the eUS Military. I was a member and eventually an officer in the Mobile Infantry in addition to a member and eventually Brigadier General of the Marines. I learned a lot from my brothers in arms about everything from how to take orders as well as how to give them.

I've also held the position of deputy Secretary of Defense for a few months under PiginZen and Bradley Reala's presidencies. The Secretary of Defense and I were in charge of ensuring the citizens who gathered on IRC were fighting appropriately during V2 with the hex-based war module. It was very complicated and the instructions provided by my counterpart and I likely saved quite a few battles.

If elected to congress I hope to continue helping the country deal with the current economic problems and to help everywhere else as well. I feel like I can provide very helpful advise and insight as to the things we should do in order to remain a strong country in the rapidly changing world of eRepublik.

On May 25th when you go to vote for Congress, keep me in mind.
