A Journey Concluded; A Fresh Start Begun
Venerable
Greetings eCanadians,
I am pleased to announce that I have returned home from my long trek through the eUnited States.
However, first let me explain why I decided to undertake that journey in the first place. Despite my level, I am indeed a new eCitizen. On December 20th, of the real year 2011, I took my first steps into the eWorld. Under the tutelage of Ultimate523, my loyal friend, I saved my gold (after foolishly spending my first 3 or 4 on health), and began to develop. I was alarmed at how quick I leveled, since I reached level 20 in a mere 3 days, and Ultimate523 was only level 30! And then I hit 25, in two weeks, and then 26 after another 2 weeks, and so on. I began to feel as if I was crawling, as if I would never be able to reach my dear friend, nor the other higher levels that I associated with.
At this point I knew next to nothing of how the game worked, I merely worked, trained, and fought. When Ultimate523 moved from HOPE to the Independent Legion, I of course followed, mesmerized by the extensive supply list. There I met Macubex and Nosyt, and within a few weeks, had become extremely active in IRC discussions, eventually to the extent of being promoted to a supplier. I was tickled to death. Me, a mere two month old eCitizen, having such a vital (aka pain in the butt) role in IL, was amazing. But as interesting as this was, and as being promoted to 2nd Commander only a few weeks later was, I was still poor, inexperienced, weak, and a low level.
When I learned of production bonuses and of the prospect of obtaining wealth through Raw Materials, I decided to take the bite. Macubex and Nosyt wished for another of their members to work Saltpeter companies for him, and I, with my very empty yet portable backyard, decided to erect these companies for IL, and as I wanted productions bonuses not only for myself, but for the company, I moved below the border.
I would now like to thank Titansmash and Connor Macleod, both of which are the reason that I am now finally able to move home. Let me simply say that they made it possible for me to build over 100 Saltpeter companies, not including the many WRM companies that I was holding for IL.
Now that I am financially stable and profiting, with a growing net worth of 1.6 million, I have returned. While I have been away, I regret to admit that I wasn’t following eCanadian politics, so for the next month I will be catching up on all that has occurred. I will then once more choose a political party to join, and hopefully run for congress, so that I may represent my beloved eCanada and her eCitizens.
With Respect and Gratitude,
The Venerable One

"100 Saltpeter companies"
😮
Welcome back to Canada (Despite me not actually being in the country 😛)
@Funky: It's a bittersweet burden to bare. I have just over 160 altogether. It makes fighting difficult.
@TitanSmash: Thank you 🙂
@Venerable: Its no problem at all mate! 🙂

The sad part about playing heavily in the 'economy' module is that Admins have downgraded the rewards of RM production, now that the price has dropped and more XP bumps one up into a higher 'tanking' bracket.
Should you find that IL has less need for your WRM, let me know and I'd be glad to work out a deal ; )
Welcome back.

@Plugson: Yes, I know. However, while I'm not getting as much money, I am still getting a healthy 3k chunk or so a day. Not optimal, as you stated, but it is still something to work with. 3 months ago, and I'd be making 18k a day.
