[WTP]- Thank You

Day 2,004, 19:57 Published in USA USA by Hale26

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.

~Margaret Mead

I've found recently that intros aren't my thing. Long story short, this article was due a few days ago. It was going to be about my humbly asking you to vote me as your PP in the upcoming WTP PP Primaries, outlining my plans...etc. But thankfully, you lot have forgiven me for my lack-of-article-ness and gave me your support.

First thing's first- Thank you for electing me WTP's Party President. Before WTP, I was a guy with a decent war newspaper. That's all I wanted from the game, and that's all I took from it. But when I joined WTP many months ago for what was a failed ATO attempt, things changed.

What is remarkable about the party, and the main reason I love it, is not where we are in numbers or how much we love newbs and activity- It is our beliefs and our drive.

Each and everyone of you is here for a reason; You do not fear change.

Some people choose to set activity and funsies (which are good) as their policy. That, just because we have a trbbl game, we should only have a theme in face alone. None of you want that.

In WTP we are populist. Leaders don't run their mouths about elections, we do not forum vote and reffs are held on every issue. Some fear what the unintelligent masses may elect. Others think that voting on trivial things is a waste of time.

We disagree. We realize that, if your point is so good, why can't you just...you know...convince the other few hundred people it affects? If the matter is so "trivial", whats the problem with voting on it? Voting encourages activity, amirite ?

I'll be the first to admit our system of doing things isn't golden. It takes time, education, involvement and communication for epopulism to work. Nonetheless, it's the one we agreed upon in the beginning- And I would never want to change that.

Now, as much as I like to meander on with my thoughts on our ideals and what not, I do have plans for this month. Firstly, this term's team-

Vice Party President- Talostastic

Recruitment- AlexMCS182

Little note about Alex~ He left for France awhile ago to help out there. He's still willing and able to help the party with recruitment though, just from a different location.

"Supplier"- HenryWilliamFrench

Advisors- Oblege and Mazzy

And, that's it. But before you all think I'm some trrbl Party President, or that I've went a bit too far with the "Small Leadership" idea, let me outline a goal I have for this month~

Currently, most of our talent is stored in the Internal Affairs Department. We have PAC directors in there, Mentoring Directors...etc. There's quite a bit of talent to be developed in the party.

So, goal #1 for this month- Develop our talent into Leadership spots.

So far I've set up a list of party workers who'd be interested in helping out in small projects here and there. From there I hope to set up a data-base of go-to workers for smaller projects, keeping track of them for larger ones as well. Every since Alex joined us and became the recruitment manager, we've had mad amounts of young talent joining us. Under my term, we're going to foster that.

That should be about it so far. I'm going to be working on a mini-outline of projects, getting that fancy shmancy worker-data-base up, announcing the results of Bill 1 and Congressionals. Yes, for once, we're doing these on time.

Thanks again to my competition and the party for electing me. Continue to INSURGIO, team.
