Fandom Will Close Polandball Wiki on September 7th

Fandom has made the decision to close the Polandball Wiki on September 7th.

As this wiki has continued to grow and evolve, it has increasingly come into conflict with our Community Creation Policy and our Terms of Use. Specifically our concerns are - source material that plays into racial or ethnic stereotypes and increasingly toxic discussion posts.

We considered whether cleaning up a subset of pages would suffice, but we feel this wiki at its base premise does not meet our company values. Content that plays on stereotypes does not bring joy nor serve a global community.

We are informing you now so that your community has time to discuss together if/how you can continue your project elsewhere. If you choose to move to a different host, Fandom can help facilitate a conversation with an alternate host if you so desire. We will also provide database dumps of your content. Please be aware that we will not permit Polandball-type content on our network period, so spinning up a second wiki on our network is not an option.
