Colombia forces decimated in Cundiboyacense

The Colombian army has added yet another loss to it’s record today, following a clean-sweep by Venezuelan forces. The territory in question, Cundiboyacense, was taken with relative ease by O.N.E-Supported Venezuelan soldiers. As noted in the last article, Colombia seems to be in a state of disarray, with no-one quite sure why they’ve lost the last 3 battles straight. Our personal guess is that Terra just isn’t putting out enough firepower to fight the ONE soldiers who have been helping Venezuela lately. That being said, Terra is much weaker these days, after it’s founding nations quit the alliance. (Brazil, USA.)
If this keeps up, Venezuela will soon have a border with the newly liberated Pro-TEDEN Philippines.




Argentine land swap goes wrong, Peruvians revolt

A land swap between Argentina and Brazil went terribly wrong today, with Peruvian rebels defeating Argentine forces in the battle for Southern Low Amazon. Though the swap was originally done to give Argentina another weapons bonus, it has instead given Peru’s military a base to operate out of.
Peruvian forces are now launching a counter attack on Argentina, with a close battle taking place between the two in the Bolivian Antiplano





Australian Soldiers Defeated in Papua

Australian Forces touched down on the Indonesian Island of Papua today, only to be sent packing home a few hours later. With Indo’s army ready for the assault, Australian soldiers easily succumbed to Indo’s raw firepower.
We can expect an Indonesian counter attack by tomorrow.



Philippino Rebels Fight for Mindanao.
Philippino rebels are currently fighting for their last occupied region, Mindanao, today. Though the rebels have so far freed 75% of the Philippines, it looks as if they just might face a setback today, with their army losing 53-24.
Though some expected this to be an easy victory for the Philippines, we must keep in mind that Mindanao is the only Iron resource that the Indonesian Empire possess. This obviously makes the territory very valuable to Indo, especially when they're fighting a war with the Aussie's to the south.
That being said, we can expect little to no retribution towards the Philippines if they lose the battle in Mindanao. The reasons being that Indo is currently too busy with the Aussies to worry about getting even, and that the Philippino government never declared war on Indo. Meaning that Indo launch a counter-attack if they win.

Cypriot Soldiers Crush Arab rebels, and Recapture Ha’il

Cypriot forces have attacked the Saudi territory of Ha’il today, following their successful victory in Sinai. Though the battles for Ha’il and Tabuk are still raging, it seems as if the Cypriots will win both of these, effectively decimating any resistance for now. 
Looks like the Arab revolution was cut short. Better luck next time House of Saud.





Bulgaria Captures Marmara


Bulgarian forces have captured the Turkish territory of Marmara today, following their victory in Burgas.
If Bulgaria keeps this up, they will be able to gain the upper-hand in their endless war with Turkey. Something their forces have lacked the past few days, with all battles between the two taking part on Bulgarian soil.





Greek Forces have Succesful landing in Apulia, Go onto attack Basilicata


Greek Forces have successfully captured the Serbian territory of Apulia, following their declaration of war on the powerful Balkan nation. With the victory in Apulia still fresh in their minds, Greek forces have attacked the Serbian territory of Basilicata.
With Serbia distracted, and Greece winning 2 rounds to 0, it seems like this will be yet another easy victory.

In other news, I’m still waiting to see a “This is Sparta!” reference.


Italian Rebels Liberate Tuscany and Umbria, Attack Slovenian Capital

Italian forces have liberated the Serbian regions of Umbria and Tuscany today, following their months long occupation by the Balkan power-house. Wanting to catch Serbia off-guard, Italy has launched yet another attack on the region of Abruzzo. This would add another weapons bonus to Italy's economy if it was captured. Er..and if that part of Italy had a link to the capital..which it doesn't..
Speaking of that, Italy has launched an attack on Emilia-Romanaga, Slovenia's Capital. Though the region was originally Italian, Slovenia has occupied the territory on and off for eons. It only recently became the capital of Slovenia due to a Croatian attack of Slovenia's original capital a few months ago.
Though Italy want's this region to act as a land-bridge between North and South Italy, they are currently losing the battle for the region.
Truth be told, I hope Italy loses this battle, mostly because Liguria is a much better land bridge for the following regions..

1. You cut Slovenia off from it's colonies in France with this

2. This leaves open the possibly of a RW on the territory of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. If this territory fell, it would cut off Emilia Romanaga (Slovenia's capital) from it's bonuses in mainland Slovenia. Effectively crushing the Slovenian economy, therefore helping Romania.


Serbian Forces Defeated in West Srpska Republic


Serbian forces have been defeated in the West Srpska Republic today, adding yet another territory to Bosnia’s land. This gives the newly liberated BiH a much needed food bonus, and another great victory against their former occupiers.





Croatian Soldiers Capture North Dalmatia,go onto attack Lika and Gorskia Kotar
Croatian forces have successfully captured the territory of North Dalmatia from Serbia today. Though the battle was reasonably close (86-57) Croatia had a safe lead from the beginning.
Not one to celebrate their victories, Croatia has launched another attack on Lika and Gorskia Kotar, one of their former territories.
However, the battle is still in it's early stages, so it's hard to tell who will win.


Slovenia Declares war on Romania, Successfully Captures first territory.

Slovenia has declared war on Romania today in an effort to aid their Hungarian allies, who’s land is partially occupied by the nation. Slovenian forces started their assault almost immediately after the NE was declared, attacking the Romanian territory of Western Transdanubia. With all of Slovenia's might crushing down on the territory, Romanian forces simply couldn't fight off the assault. Bye-Bye Weapons Bonus

Hungary Re-Captures Southern Great Plain


Hungarian rebels have recaptured the Southern Great Plain today, just a few days after it was lost to Romania. This is a key province to Romania because it links them with their colonies in Hungary.Therefor,
without this Province, Romania has no way of getting their 2 bonuses located in southern Hungary.All in all, this will take away a 20% production bonus to both the food and weapons industries.




Austrian Rebels Threaten to Siege Croatian Capital

Austrian rebels threaten to siege the Croatian Capital of Burgenland today, after launching a massive assault on the territory of Styria. If Styria falls to the Austrian rebels, Croatia’s capital will have no way to connect with it’s region in the rest of Austria and Switzerland.
Currently Croatia is losing the battle, with Austria winning 71-50.
***UPDATE- Croatia is currently 1 point away from winning. Seems like Austria always gets this close in their Resistance wars, and then fails right when glory is attainable. Either that, or Croatia's just trolling them.




Spain Captures Alentejo


Spain has captured yet another Portugese territory today, after successfully taking the territory of Centro out of Portugese hands.
We can expect a wipe of Portugal in coming days if this continues.


Finland attacks Kurzeme...again.
Finnish soldiers are back at it today, with their military launching an assault on the Latvian territory of Kurzeme this afternoon. Currently, the battle is fairly close.
But if Finland does win this battle, they will be only be one day away from Latvia's capital. Assuming it's still in Samogitia of course.


Albania Faces off with Montenegro, and Serbia might just run-away.
Don't really have time to go into much detail, so i'll just sum up the situation. Albania is attacking Montenegro's last region, and Montenegro is RWing Albania's only Montenegrin region. At current they're tied 11-11 in both battles.
While Serbia has been fighting Montenegrin rebels for the Montenegrin coast. This territory was originally taken by Serbia when Albania invaded it awhile ago. This is also Greek's only land-bridge into the mainland Balkans. So if it stays in Serbian hands, Greece can attack it to gain entry into what will soon become the main theatre of war in the Balkans (Serbia's borders)
However, this territory borders Apulia, which borders the Ionian Islands. So TEDEN may want to liberate the territory to keep Serbia a safe distance away from Greece.

English Rebels Lose East of England, Regain East Midlands.
What can I say? England just won't be wiped.
England was wiped by France this morning, only to regain the territory of East Midlands a few hours later. England is currently RWing another French territory, and preparing to go to war with Germany.
Expect further updates on the region as the situation progresses.

P.S- I meant to Publish this earlier, which is why I actually wrote it in the afternoon. Of course, things change over a few hours, so I had some editing to do. Last time I write in the afternoon -.-
