**Before I start- Yes, I've been on hiatus as of late. Sorry for not warning anyone. Though I still consider myself on hiatus, I will be breaking out of my slumber to put out an article or 2. I'll explain my reasons for this at the end (Cliffhanger making people read long article- Check.

FYROM Makes Peace with France
America Victorious in North Carolina- Away into the Balkans we go.
American forces have successfully defended North Carolina today, following a failed-assault on FYROMian occupied Aquitaine A.K.A the 51st state. This comes after a 3 day FYROMian siege of New England. (New York, Delaware, Vermont..etc)
FYROM initially had an easy time in their war against us, but as mentioned by Israel Stevens, many MU's simply didn't deploy to the early battles.
Mr.Stevens also hinted that America had chosen to "ignore" our FYROMian enemies for the first few days of the war to help with the peace treaty signed with Mexico. Knowing that FYROM would try to liberate all our foreign holdings A.K.A Mexico, Mr.Stevens thought this would be a quick and simple way to follow through on our organized retreat from Mexico.

America's looking a lot trimmer these days

On top of this, I have a strong suspicion that losing 1 resource bonus because of the war with FYROM was intentional- Falling in line with what I will dub "The Asturias Solution"
TDLR of theory- Lose bonuses, Drive Serbs out. I'll go into detail about that later.



Newly Liberated Mexico Declares War on Colombia
As predicted by many anti-CTRLers, Mexico has declared war on Colombia following the nation's independence.
Mexico and Colombia have been historic enemies, so this move was not surprising. Plus, this will now give Colombia a 3 front war to fight on, with Spain and Venezuela attacking from the West, while Mexico attacks from the North.
Colombia originally declared war on Spain to assist Portugal, a nation Spain occupies. Though Colombia managed to drive Spain out of South America (Where they were renting a few regions from Venezuela, a Spanish ally), it seems that the 3-way NE will be too much for this blue nation to handle.
However, this is some win in this- Spain can't NE Portugal for 4 more days because they NE'd Colombia awhile ago. So the 1 Portugese region of Lisboa is safe for a little while. (As long as Portugal doesn't NE Spain, opting to instead free it's regions VIA RW.)

P.S- This will be Mexico's first war while being a COT nation.


Colombia Fights Venezuela, Attempts to Liberate Azores.
Colombia is currently trying to keep down Venezuelan rebels in Zulian in Guayana, as well as attempting to liberate the Azores. Colombian forces have managed to crush the rebels in Zulian (Protecting a weapons bonus) but are being defeated in both the Azores(22-0) and Guayana.
Though the battle for Guayana is young (8-3 for Venezuela) it wouldn't be too preemptive to theorize that this may be a planned withdrawal from Guayana to cut of Spain's border with Colombia, therefore cutting of their NE. (And cutting Colombia down to 2, much weaker enemies)
Though I doubt Colombia is going to do this, it is still an option.


Paraguay Declares War on Brazil...Sort of..
Paraguay and Brazil will be opening up a training war in coming days to take advantage of the new missions Plato gave us.
There is also talk that Brazil may be renting some unneeded regions to Paraguay, but that's all pure speculation right now.


Kiwis Declare War on Argentina
New Zealand has declared war on Argentina today. Though I'm not sure if this is just another "Paraguay-Brazil" style training war, I'm going to say this is a real war. Not for the mission.
You see, New Zealand had a training war/landswap with the Aussies a long time ago. Once the Aussies gained a few New Zealand territories (as both sides agreed on) Chile declared war on Australia. Chile then went on to wipe Australia, only surrendering a single region a few days ago for peace talks.
With Australia and Argentina being bros, Argentina may of hinted to New Zealand that it wanted revenge for their treachery. New Zealand might've then declared NE so they'd have advantage.
Regardless of that, we can expect an invasion of Argentina sometime soon. Sure hope they managed to get their funds back up, no ?

Not much to say. I'd recommend reading the comments on that article though- Some of them are fairly interesting.

Serbia Declares War on China- It has begun.
Serbia has finally declared war on China, following their successful capture of the last Pakistani province of Balochistan. This will be the first time Serbia and China face off in..well, my whole e-life.
In related news, Iran has signed a peace treaty with Serbia. This has understandably drawn much criticism, with some saying Iran has "left China out to dry."

Fun fact- Serbian forces have been marching Eastwards from Oltenia, Romania for 54 days for this moment. They've fought at least 70 battles, and waged war on 6 countries to get here.

China Vs. Serbia- Let the Games Begin.
In related news, China WAS going to NE Serbia first, but then this happened-

So China, the country with the strictest immigration policies in the e-world, just so happens to have 1 rogue congressman who just so happens to be on at the exact same time Serbia gains a border with China.
...This might be a bad omen for things to come..

Ukraine- How things have changed.
Well, seems that Hungary is now occupying most of the Ukraine. Luckily for the Ukrainians the region of Donbas was freed a few days ago, giving the Ukraine 1 region and congress. The Ukraine should be safe for now, since Hungary is busy with Belarus to the north.

P.S- Ukraine also liberate Volhynia, apparently. Oh, and sorry bout not turning the active battles feature off <.<.

Estonian Rebels Liberate Northern Estonia
Estonian rebels have liberated Pohja-Eesti and Kirde-Eesti recently, following Finland's wipe of the baltic country.
ABC forces are now attempting to liberate both Keski-Eesti and Louna-Eesti, losing Kesk 25-19, and winning Louna 70-7.
In related news, Finland has lost both it's bonuses in Estonia due to the liberation of Pohja and Kirde.

Nice to see Finland back at it.

Sweden Invades Lithuania
Sweden is currently invading Lithuania, leaving the ABC nation down to 1 home region. This comes after Swedish forces defeated Lithuania on Swedish territory a few days ago.
Sweden is currently trying to keep a down a revolt in Lithuania Minor, losing the battle 40-37. 2 food bonuses for Sweden are currently at stake here.

Latvia Declares War on Finland
Latvia has declared war on Finland, launching an invasion of Finnish occupied Louna-Eesti.

Hungary Wipes Belarus
Hungary has wiped Belarus recently, after the small nation lost it's last holdings in Latvia. Hungary probably did this out of sheer boredom and the fact that having Belarus under wraps frees up Latvia to declare war on Finland, greatly helping ABC.
However, this move may have un-intended consequences- the Ukraine, a nation very loyal to ABC, may be pushed a little bit more in ASGARD's favor thanks to Hungary joining ABC's side in the Baltic war.

Croat-Roma coalition To Wipe Indonesia
Romania and Croatia will soon be wiping Indonesia, following the 2 balkan nation's successful transfer into Oceania VIA airstrike on Malaysian.
With the Romanian homeland being voluntarily given up to Bulgaria, it looks as Romania is trying to move it's capital into Oceania for good- A move Croatia has already done.
Which means that Indo should, surprisingly, prepare for quite the wipe.
Eh, Serbia's coming into the region though. Who knows- Maybe the Balkan Bulldog can save Indo ?

Oceania just got a lot more colorful

Poland Invades Czech Republic
Poland has invaded it's Czech ally recently, to make 2 paths to their resources in Germany/France/Netherlands.
This has cost the Czech 2 bonuses, and hurt relations greatly between the 2 nations.

However, This all could've went down much better if Poland offered to rent the Austrian regions of Lower Austria and Styria out from Austria-to-the-Czech for free. Of course, Poland would have to pay Austria for the regions Austria would give the Czech, but a small fee (Maybe 20K monthly for each region ?) isn't too much to ask for to keep good relations with a long time ally, now is it ?
The Czech stay at 3 bonuses, Poland loses it's choke-point region of Saxony, and Austria winds up with 40K extra per month. (40K is about .0033333.. of Poland's monthly budget). IMO, at least.

A little diplomacy never hurt anyone, no ?

Hmm..Article didn't turn out as well as I was hoping. Still decent in my opinion, just not as good as I was hoping.
Anyways, onto what I mentioned in the start. You see, writing WNN takes up a fair amount of time (1.5 hours-2). Though I don't claim to be writing the whole time (I get distracted too <.<..), that's still a sizable amount of time.
Hence why I've went on hiatus.
However, I'm going to be testing out a watered down version of WWN in coming days. Basically, there will be 2 types of article..
1- Analysis
2- Report
You see, I currently state what's going on in the world, then analyze it. I would like to make different articles for those 2 things, to save time.
I'll explain more in an article dedicated to the subject tomorrow.
P.S- We're going to be releasing more political articles in coming days. Strange as it is, I've actually found a party to support, so I'm going to start writing articles for them. Expect great things ^.^
