[USWP] The Dead Are Rising

Mood Music: No thanks, Rivers, we’ll stick around a bit.

It’s been a weird couple of months, eUSA. While a global pandemic was sweeping our nations in RL, many people returned to the game thanks to a dramatic increase in time spent at home with nowhere to go. In essence, we were all prisoners together here in our favorite correctional facility: eRepublik.

Amidst spending boycotts, a long-term non-aggression pact, and some of the stupidest game updates we’ve seen in years, eUSA has found a spark. The return of so many old players to the game, or at least to being active in the game, has truly been a treat. The running joke inside the White House has been then we somehow hopped in a time machine back to 2015. It was a simpler time, for sure, with a lot of truly tremendous players.

Looking back at the long history of USWP is pretty tremendous. And what’s captured in the Wiki is a small part of all the time since it started. We have had some real rock stars leading this party, and by extension our country, over the years. While I didn’t start my political career in USWP, it became obvious to me that for someone that wanted to help shape our future, it is the place to be.

As we enjoy this surge of national activity, I encourage everyone to take a moment to consider making USWP a home. What do we stand for? It has admittedly changed over the years, including during our time as The Consitution Party. But as we return to our roots, it is hard to say it better than this, from the USWP Mission Statement: “We believe in working with others, from within or without our party, for the betterment of the United States.”

Our new logo highlights some key aspects of this rebirth. The gear is a call back to our origins as Workers, now more prominent as we seek to work together as part of this national machine. The zombie hand, both a reference to a long-term nickname for members of the Party and a reference to the return of our long-dead brothers and sisters, back to help USWP return to her former glory.

Come join us and help us define our new vision and mission for the party and for the country. While we were excited about Aramec’s plans last month, it wasn’t in the cards due to RL. So now we drive forward with our rebeginning, once again.

I am tremendously excited to be a part of this time in our party history. Come join us and let’s make the most of it.

Dio bless you, Dio bless the USWP, and Dio bless the eUnited States of America.
