I will not lie when I say I am disappointed with the election results but there is nothing I can do now except wait for next month. The negative portrayal of me in the media was both upsetting and unfair as I ran a clean election campaign and did not warrant abuse off any individual or their associates. I would however like to thank each of my 43 voters for their votes yesterday. It is good to see so many people placed their trust in me for protecting and guiding their nation. I'd also like to thank members of the eIrish Community without Irish citizenship for their support, advice and encouragement throughout my campaign. Your private words meant a lot.

As well as my own election campaign I have been leading an Irish Airstrike campaign. Since I began this effort we have doubled our available funds. Special thanks to those who donated and spread the world at home and abroad.
