[shoi4CP?] This is an Awful Idea...

Day 2,047, 00:38 Published in Canada Canada by Shoi12
Me about CP-hood.

I dunno...I don't want this job.

Right now, I'm sitting comfortably(ish) in a slightly awkward position on top of my bed, back slightly hunched and form twisted to the right, typing on the keyboard that's connected to my computer via a long and complicated series of wires. Basically, I'm at home. And you know what, I get bored. Might as well do something, and that's run for CP.

Not so fast.

I'm taking off on Saturday and driving up to Calgary. (Why else would we be fighting for Alberta?) Yeah, driving. It should be a little trip, so I won't be around for much of Saturday through Monday. And when I get there, my cousins will be around, so I'll be partying and gaming with them a lot until they leave. So while I won't be abandoning eRep, obviously I'm gonna hang out with family, have some fun, and ease off for a couple days. They should be gone by the 4th, so it fits perfectly. If you guys want me as CP, I will be here.

Now, here are the conditions. I will also be driving back home (don't stalk me), so I'll have a couple days where I'm not really around for much. I have no qualms leaving my account with Mary-chan during those days if anything urgent comes up (this would be in the middle of the term, 20th-22nd or so), and it's not as if I won't at least stop by to make sure our country isn't completely in ruins. So don't say I didn't warn you.

Here's what I offer to you. Up in Calgary, my internet is bullocks. Absolute crap. Ideally, after the first week up there I'll have loads of free time, minus the obvious family time, and it still ends up being more than some presidents in time staring at a screen doing nothing while shoving chips into my oral cavities. But honestly, there will be times where I can't respond because my internet hates me. And I'm not sure if IRC will behave or not (it did in spurts beforehand). Essentially, I'll have lots of time, but I'm not sure if Zeus will allow the information to transmit from the modem and router to my lappy.

I do know what I can promise you though. Frankly, I'd say that I'm the most experienced and influential diplomat in eCan. Tons of contacts worldwide, lots of experience and recognition in affairs, and it's not as if I don't write. Oh boy do I write. Way WAY too much. I can promise you this though. No matter rain or sunshine, I will make a daily address to you. Whether if there's breaking news or if there's just enough for a hello and weather report, I will not keep eCanada in the dark. If I'm doing this for you, you will know what I'm doing.

Honestly, I hope y'all have other candidates set up. I'm perfectly content with being MoFA or an adviser if it means eCanada goes in the right direction. I don't need the recognition or fame, much less the gold. Though the gold is sooo shiny ^.^

eCanada, I'm simply tossing my name in the hat. I hope to see quality CP candidates take this seriously and prove that eCanada is no joke, that we are a small but mighty group of proud individuals. Give our people interesting ideas, choices on where to take our nation. Prove that we deserve our freedom. Have solid cabinets and competent work, both internally and externally. It'd be nice to have someone that has good internet be CP. But if there's no one that steps forward, I'll be happy to take the pain and suffering of CP-hood and save the rest of you from its misery.

I don't want you to vote for me, but do so if you must...

shoi, the apathetic CP candidate, reluctantly joins the fray! Yay?

Until next time, take care!
