STATEMENT

by the President of the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland

Two Weeks of SFP Presidency

Two weeks passed since the Swiss Freedom Party President Sisk took office. We’ve seen a major period of inactivity from his side, mainly because he had urgent stuff to do in real life. But despite this problems, he was present for a short period and claimed how an eventual impeachment is unnecessary. I will now analyze his term.

Seven days ago we’ve finally seen a mass message created to enable „participation of everyone“ in governmental decision-making. What Sisk has written as „things done by now“ were the following:

(1) openning of negotiations with Slovenia about future relations with Switzerland – two days after he asked in the mass message if someone is interested in joining these negotiations so he could create the mass message with Slovenia. Till today, we don’t know if the negotiations have even started.

(2) creating and testing a document for new citizens – in his presidential campaign he mentioned some „test“ by which he could determine if a new player is a multiple account or not. To note, I do support the effort of our citizens in the fight against multiple accounts but if it comes to an agressive method like spamming people’s inboxes or forming a secret list where players could be analyzed, I strongly oppose it since that situations could be considered bullying and new citizens would be scared off. Even if multiple accounts were detected, from our past experience, it would be hard to get them banned. Even though this „document“ was announced, we’ve seen nothing.

(3) searching for community contest ideas – this topic was started five days ago. But till today, we haven’t really seen even a small contest published.

(4) preparing some educational articles – even though five days ago these articles were announced, none was published. That same day, we were asked about what topic should those educational articles be focused on. Since then, nothing was published.

Beside of these, a certain thing was written under „things that need to be done“ where talks to Dan/naD Wilshire were mentioned regarding the SNA commune. Sisk also wrote that Swiss citizens should get the tanks they produce which just tells us that beside the articles published about this weapon factory, some people really try to ignore this topic. The SNA weapon factory gives its workers a 60-70CHF salary which is pretty close to the equivalent of weapons they produce. For this topic, we don’t even know if those talks even started.

I do understand the President’s desire to improve activity and consider everybody’s opinion in making some decisions, but he should have noticed that this system he was trying to introduce is not working. All these things mentioned above „are not done“ and won’t probably be done if he continues to wait for people to answer him and propose ideas on it. That’s why an experienced governmental team is needed to push people in every module of the game.
