Hi all,
I guess it's finally time to publish my proper manifesto! Well, here it goes

ADF
As you know, the Australian Defence Force is the nations MU specialising in D1 fighters. It's leadership and guidance helps build a stronger lower division fighting capability and helps to educate new players to our community. It is my intention to continue its funding and raise awareness of the unit, to maintain the friendly and helpful atmosphere and invest in the next generation. I believe the current command are doing a brilliant job, and I hope they are willing to continue their work. I am yet to contact people regarding next terms roles, so everything will be finalised in a later article!
LETO/DoD
For the past few months, the government has been working very hard to gain entry to LETO. Claire and Hugh's great work finally saw us gaining entry this month. I have been working closely with HQ this month and want the Australian public to become more involved. The way we can do this is by fighting in the LETO Mobile Army. At the moment, the LMA is being reorganised. Once it is done, I hope as many eligible players join as possible, fighting for LETO orders and making them proud. The DoD, of course, will follow LETO priorities, with budget being given to fund COs and possibly supply. There is also an opportunity for a RL Aussie to get involved in LMA command, if anybody is willing, please message me!
Aus Senate
Thanks to some awesome work by Claire this month, Aus say our first Senate in months. It is vital that we secure Senate again, and I aim to make sure of this, strengthening our colonial position to give us more security. Our geopolitical situation is not great, but through brotherhood and allies, we can prevail!
Next Generation
We don't all live forever, sometimes, we like to sit back and relax for a while. The N-G Scheme will tie interested players with a minister in order to train them in their respective department. This shall ready newer players for their step up into politics and help keep our community alive! I don't want to limit opportunities and want as many people to apply as possible!
JDS/DoE
The JDS and the DoE are to Aussie gems that add fun and vibrant activities for players to complete. I don't think anything needs changing, they are doing such a fantastic job. Funding will continue and I hope as many players participate in their activities!
Hostilities
I cannot be specific on this, nor can i be 100%. I hope I can deliver, and at least rid our land of one invader, but only time shall tell. I plan to work closely with certain nations to remove certain invaders, but I cannot give to my word that it will succeed. I hope I can deliver, but don't vote for me solely on this point.

Well guys, thats about all i have to say for now. As for cabinet I need people to apply. I have some people in mind for certain roles and specific duties, of whom I shall message. However, I would still like people to apply for a role in:

Literally nothing in this entire "manifesto" except 'let's keep doing what we're already doing'
Why change direction when we can build on what we have? At least we're doing something that works, instead of giving up and moving to Albania...
1. I didn't move to Albania
2. Albania is more successful than you
3. If your manifesto is "do nothing" why not say so without the 20 annoying dividers.
If it works for a tiny nation then why fix it? What should he add....that we are going to attack Poland?
We have one of the best young player schemes around...copied by the eUK, foreign policy is set out and there really isn't much scope for dramatic changes with regards to tax etc etc
Sure, but the point of a manifesto is to lay out your ideas. This manifesto just screams mediocrity.
I'll be hung for this...but Australia is mediocrity. As i said below the thing with Aus is you can't even guarantee a working cabinet so manifesto's are mainly hit and miss...hopefully with us being on the map again activity will pick up and the country will be run by more than the usual four people. Then we can have ideas and shiny new things.

Have to agree with keers sadly on this one, Maybe with you being involved for so long recently there just isnt any new fresh idears left in the tank
No offence mate but we are limited to what we can do other than carry on with what works and try and grab another region for security reasons. We don't have the budget and activity to have huge departments and run with a large selection of ideas...i tried co-ordinating our MU's and that fell flat on its face when two out the top 5 didnt want to know.
With Aus I have learned you keep it simple and play it by ear 😉
What I would like to see change is regular articles by departments. To keep the public up to date on matters.
You can tell that in recent months with the push of alliance membership and retaining regions that Ministers had a free ride as the CP has their mind focused elsewhere.
I've been really lapse on my articles lately 🙁 so preoccupied with things the past two weeks, I definitely need to get an update out

In defence of Saiwun, Aus plans don't tend to go how they should and everything this term has literally been last minute. Sure, you can make plans but it's unlikely they'll play out that way. I'm sure Sai has some ideas that a) can't be mentioned in public and b) can't be predicted. I don't doubt he will have a good month.

Wind your neck in mate and for once try to stop being an arsehole, we sent out PM's yesterday asking every single one of our members who they wanted to vote for and who the party will be backing...have your party balloted your members?

Good luck and you have my vote. I 100% agree at this stage we need to stick with the course we are on. We all want to be the 'king of the hill', but unfortunately we dont have the muscle or coordination to do that just yet.
However I am sure in the next few months we will. Patience is a virtue.

I wish you good luck Sai. not that i agree or disagree with Iain but i was originally going to ask to make it simple highlight what you'd change. to clear it up are you changing the foreign policy or military funding strategy? they are the key things.
On the pts you made about new generations are you trying to get active ministers involved or just people that are liked by the insiders? Hugh worked hard to rid the old forum and country power base we don't need to replace one order with another. i would be interested to lead your foreign affairs dept or press office if you want but only if you are going to be active.
not meaning to be rude but your manifesto reads about what you are grooming others to do and not yourself. i wish you the best though no matter our past disputes. good luck
Sai4CP i'm rooting for ya mate, you really deserve this chance 🙂 you've put a lot into the country already. I also agree that what we're doing is working and it doesnt hurt to have a month of mainly a bit more defensive than offensive push. I'm sure you have some cards up your sleeve 😉
