Man that was rough.


Mood Music: And we're back!


I don't like to go this long without an article about the state of our nation, but it's been a tough couple of weeks. Just to bring the nation up to speed, I've been in the middle of an audit at work. As the one person in our lab who can do uncertainty analysis, I was basically single-handedly preparing the more technical side of a massive expansion to our scope of accreditation. Between work and commutes, I was away from home for 70 hours from Monday to Friday. Now that it's done, things will ease back to an easier pace.


Despite the necessity of me basically POTUSing during my bathroom breaks, the country is doing very well. The Canadian Training War was a resounding success and many people received a lot of benefits from the mission event. With the war now officially closed, we can focus on returning the regions to Canada. As has been put out before, please do not fight against Canada in the RWs.


I've also been even working hard on a new rental agreement for our Iron source in Cuba. As you hopefully noticed last month, there was no renewal stipulation in our agreement. During the presidential elections earlier this month, a different faction within Cuba took control of the Executive. All this led to entirely new negotiations this month and the results are excellent. I'm pleased to announce our new rental agreement which will remain in place until one side desires otherwise. This will likely continue to improve our once strained relationship with Cuba as our newest neighbor.

The final point that I’d like to touch on briefly is the continuing developments in the Interior and Education departments. They’ve been burning the candle at both ends this month. Education has put out some great guides in the last week or so, including one written by yours truly about Training Grounds and continued to make updates and changes to the DoE Website. Interior is plugging away at the Save eRepublik Initiative as entries for the Recruiting Video continue to come in. Their free stuff programs also continue to operate with new articles coming out about them. I promised that we’d be focusing a lot at home this month and I think that Code-Y, Civil Anarchy, and their teams have certainly delivered on that promise.
