[POTUS] Special Report - Day 2464

Today is a good day, eAmerica.

Mood Music: Time to dance!

The Department of Homeland Security spends a lot of time working behind the scenes to keep our country safe. In recent months, there’s only really been one person that we as a nation can all agree is an enemy of our way of life, and month after month, we unite to keep him out of power. Today marks another great stride.

If you don’t know who Ajay Bruno (Pizza the Hut,General Cartman Lee, Ronald Gipper Reagan, Lauren EIlola, and likely others) is and you’re up for a little reading, check out the back story on the eUS forum. It’s a pretty comprehensive look at what has brought us to this point.

This month, DHS once again made preparations to prevent Ajay from taking over another party. The two months before, he had managed to seize a party with a last minute move to a party without anyone on the ballot. This time, he took a different approach. He ran for Party President in one party and then switched to one with an empty ballot (Kria is our Kween) after reset when the election was already ongoing. Since eRepublik thought he was on a ballot, at the end of the election day, the coding of elections created a conflict.

Some portions of the party showed that, as expected, the previous President, Ralph Ericson, remained as Party President. However, other portions showed the Ajay was now the new President despite never having ran in the party. This allowed him the power to change party information, endorse himself for the next Presidential race, etc. When Artela brought this egregious error and blatant cheating of the system to my attention, I responded the way I do best: I opened a ticket.

Admin tickets can be annoying. I still have one open from months ago about a bug that is in “Still Analyzing” status. However, I’ve noticed that as a Country President, I tend to get an answer pretty quickly. In a record pace, just 14 minutes after my ticket was submitted, I received an answer.

Just like that, the latest incarnation of Ajay was dead. Now that 4 of his better known accounts have all been permabanned for rule violations, you have to wonder when it will end and the admins will finally have to find a way to keep him out permanently. Until then, we’ll continue to keep a watchful eye on the horizon for his return under a new name. Maybe his rhetoric will improve this time around, but I doubt it.

This is a victory for eAmerica. Let’s celebrate together.

Dio bless you, and Dio bless the eUnited States of America.
