[PCP] A guide to members - joining the forums and the irc.

Evening comrades this is just a wee guide on to getting onto the forums, and irc. It is not just to help you out, but also to prove to UKRP that we can make MUCH better articles (sorry guys - you tried your best ❤).

JOINING THE FORUM

The forum.



Simply click the link, hit register, and follow the instructions. Not much to it really. :3

Once you have registered there is a variety of different sub-forums, there is something for everyone, blah blah etc. etc.




Yes there is a lot but really you don't need to pay attention to most of it. The PCP section, General and Presidential Announcements are the ones you should definitely check, and if you're feeling particularly unsociable feel free to browse the rest of this minefield.

Oh yeah, to access the PCP forum just post in "access requests" using da instructions in this thread.

ACCESSING THE IRC

There are many irc clients, and an infinite number of things you can do on it, but this is just a dummies way or getting onto irc. On the forums home page there is a small ta b with irc. Click on it (well duh). Type in your name and you will get this page: -




That is the uk national channel. To get the pcp channel type what you see above.


That's our wee channel. We have a private channel too, but it requires a password which i am not going to share to the whole of the eWorld.😉

That's aboot it folks. It's really not that hard. Just do eet.
