1. What did you think in the very first moment you got these information?
“When do they fix the economy?! Now seriously. We have not enough information to speculate about possible consequences. For now it seems as if nations with lots of regions will get financial support from minor nations with less or none regions. But who will pay whom money and when? What are the dependences? There are many unknown parameter yet. Also a main question is, if taxes are collected either from the occupier or the original nation. The last case would change everything in a fatal way. But one thing is fixe
😛Bazooka is attractive again to get 25, 50 or 75 Kills fast and easy for the new medal.”
2. What effects do you suggest for Poland or Serbia and respectively minor states (without regions) with these new implementations?
“Its hard to say what kind of influence it will be, if you dont know further details. Of course you can speculate now that for example minor states will have additional costs / problems. This also makes a liberation harder for minor nations while bigger nations are gaining more money from their regions. As a result many players could be demotivated and maybe quiting the game. But perhaps it will be still possible to rent regions to other nations, although both governments must agree in their opinions. Nobody knows how this will work exactly, unless admins are revealing more details.
3. As might be reasonably expected polish players will love the upcoming changes. Is it true or does Poland get new probelms with these changes?
“Players in Poland and around the world actually want changes at the economy module. As you can notice, this update tends to two sides. On one side it will give nations with many regions more money, on the other side you can start resistance wars at any time and almost everywhere. That might be a serious problem for occupants. With that said it looks like this isnt very beneficial for Poland and the government.”
4. A long time ago Germark closed a contract with Poland which mainly regulates the presence of Germark, while those same doesnt support any resistance in these occupied regions. Do you think the relationship between Germark and Poland will be modified based on announced changes? Is the contract in danger?
“The contract is consistently fulfilled since May 2012. I think this contract isnt threatened by the upcoming update. Its rather tempting since there will be a new medal, but the opportunity can be wasteful too, because of traveling costs and the fact that you dont have a 100% guarantee for 1-Hit-Kills and success.
5. Some personal questions for final discussion: Will Poland become the punchingball of Plato? Should alliances be built around states with many regions now? What kind of value or sense do you see in this update?
“I think that espacially minor (and) occupied states will be hit hard by the changes. As yet its very hard to determine which profits will be expected from regions, same holds true for potential costs from even more resistance wars. Maybe the update turns out +/- 0 for occupation forces. As we can see this is no real change at all, beyond that nobody knows how intensive the new features will be used. Its quite similar to recent events, the first time it attracted lots of players and it was fun, but following events werent charming anymore.”
Thank you very much for your statements, it was a pleasure.

1. Was waren deine ersten Gedanken, als du davon erfahren hast?
“Und wann kommt das Ökonomie-Update? Jetzt mal ernsthaft. Was wird wovon abhängig?

wow if the original nation collects the tax from occupier that would be some really fkked up logic
"ok you are to strong and took our region by force - but whatever now you have to pay me tax"
->this can be if the tax is a diplomatic ingame way of "borrowing regions for cash"
this way it would be of not so much effect ingame as most regions (unlike with germark union) are taken by force and occupied nations have no say so
if the occupier collects the tax it would have to be paid from state account of the occupied nations as copletely wiped nations wouldn't have much of an income to pay the tax
*too strong
