[Muglack4CP] Am I really doing this?

Day 2,747, 10:08 Published in Canada Canada by Muglack

Here's the deal.

My position on wanting to be CP has been pretty clear over the last 3 years or so. It's a thankless job that only glutton's for punishment would ever want to do it. Add to this the fact that the pool of players that would actually do a decent job is almost completely depleted by the fact that most of them are too smart to actually want to do it. This opinion is shared by a large portion of the "Veteran" community, especially those with 1 or 2 CP medals.

So what am I doing?

Well I guess you could say that it's a "perfect storm" situation.

These past few weeks have been pretty divisive for eCanada. There was two clear groups trying to pull the country in opposite directions, while the center just tried to hold on. In the end (in my opinion) everything worked out just fine, but those groups and those camps are still on the periphery of our "culture".

What this country needs moving forward is exactly what I offer.

I'm the center. I embody the philosophical point around which we can move forward and reunify this country.

I have zero interest in the petty squabbles, the "he said, she said" arguments, or the dick measuring contests that have become prevalent recently (ok, maybe not recently, but much more apparent given the state of the media module and lack of "community" around it).

I want what a majority of you want. I want the eCanada that you voted for when you said "No" to a Dictatorship.

It's time this community started looking forward again, and stopped dwelling on the past.

Cabinet Article to follow after I pick the best and brightest, send out PMs, have them decline, and then struggle to find people that are only semi-capable but are actually willing to do the job. Or if you want to save me some time just post in the comments or send me a PM directly if you're interested in being involved.
