This game is heavily reliant on one thing more than anything else and that thing is - Gold.



From days of Midas' tale we have had a fascination with gold. Wars have been fought for it, people have given their lives and taken lives to have a chance at capturing that elusive booty!

And we all love booty, amiright? 😉

But, why? Why gold? Why not silver? Surely a piece of metal is only that, metal!

But not in this world. In this world, gold gets you buff. It's like steroids but without the guilt. It helps you win battles, like diplomacy without the red tape.

Probably trains with gold.

This article is on one thing. How can you, the new player looking at this world in awe and not wanting to spend RL cash for pixels, get gold?

Medals: This is the obvious route. It is also the easiest way as long as you're patient. If you work for 30 days, you will get a HW medal, and that is worth 5 gold. Same thing for supersoldier with every 250 strength you advance. If you go to your profile page you can find it.

Some special mention medals - True Patriot, if there's a battle for your country, i.e. UK, the land where Awesome is practically oozing out of its faucets, then fight hard and get that damage as high as possible. That is going to get you TP medals one after the other. Each worth 1000 CC (Roughly 2.4 gold) - CHA CHING! (bear in mind that if you move citizenship countries, your counter will reset, but the damage needed wont so you'd have to start again from 0)

Side note: If you are new, I recommend fighting ONLY in such battles and avoid fighting otherwise and get that strength up!


RH: This is an interesting medal, this relies on what the value of gold is. If you can do a bit of maths, this can earn you a pretty penny (of gold).

Currently, the price for 1 Gold = 402.7 gold.(The cheapest offer on the monetary market. And to take part in a Resistance, you need 1000 currency to support it.

So that's roughly over 2.4 Gold. If that region gets liberated, you get 5 gold. You're doubling your money right there! But word to the wise, make sure you take part in resistance wars that have a high chance of winning (Like regions being returned at the end of a Training War)

Some other medals include Freedom Fighter, Media Mogul, etc. They all give a decent bit of gold.

So now you've got a nice pouch full of gold, you're thinking it's time to go to a strip club and throw your weight around. Or throw a massive party!

You can do that, or you can do the patient thing and turn your gold into MORE GOLD!.

The Monetary Market.


You can sell your gold by creating an offer. Make sure you dont undercut by too much, try to get the highest price for your gold. Right now I'd put my offer at around 402.8. Just because the 402.7 offer will run out soon enough.

Next step, put the money you make from the sale of gold back into the MM. And sell it at 0.003 gold per GBP.

If you sell 1 gold, you get 402.8 GBP. Selling 402.8 GBP for 0.003 gold, gets you 1.2 gold back.

That's a 20% profit. I like them numbers! Imagine what you can make with 10, 20 or a 100 gold!

But here's the catch, it takes time. A LOT of time. That is where patience comes in to play.

But if you can be patient, you will reap the rewards. Gold shall never be an issue for you again.
