[MoFA] Is it a new threat or an old one?

So I woke up this morning at about 9am thinking just another day in the relatively quiet eAustralian front. how wrong I was.
After getting on IRC I discovered that alot of people were trying to contact me and/or others in Aus govt. Turns out it was quite important what they had to say.
Essentially the whole thing can be summed up in a few words “Chile are Coming”
If you look at South America currently you can see Chile plowing through Peru a former ally who they decided wasn’t a good one anymore. Sound familiar? Chile seems to make a habit of throwing allies away when they don’t have use for them anymore.
Chile invading Peru
That means when Chile has taken Chimor from Peru they will border Australia. Guess what that means Ladies and Gentlemen? We get invaded again.
Not to mention Indo will likely be around the corner to help them at some stage.
Here is a potentially threatening new friendship
We get divided up like a year ago when Chile took some they needed and Indo took the rest.

So what can we do?
Get as Many MPPs as we can, open our Government Pockets for MPPs, we need to not only be ready to defend ourselves but make buddies with the enemies of Chile and Indo. Now more than ever.
The best defence is a good offence. Words eAustralia hasn’t always followed, but I think it’s time we started.

increasing pacts is a good idea but not sure if senate will support that. Mick and Nicky tried to expand the protection pact base and good that Callumh and you tried to keep as many as possible. if it came to vote i'd vote yes to it and encourage others to do the same governments need senate to support their moves.
senate has the choice of supporting it or being responsible for us being wiped again

v, though with Indo trying to sign an MPP with Argentina, and Chile signing an NAP with them as well, I'm wandering if they intend to try and make up with you guys at some point. 😛
i doubt it, indo doesnt know how to be a decent neighbour to anyone
I meant Chile. 😛 Some people believe that an MPP between Chile and Arg could come in the near future, which seems unbelievable but hell with the world in the state it is, very little would surprise me at this point.
oh right, yeah its possible, and its a frightening prospect, they would have control of that entire timezone.

We have your back. Worst case scenario, Indo we'll lose the Arg MPP, and nothing on the NAP with Chile prevents us from helping Australia through the MPP.

A wipe may not be a bad thing. See my post in the Public Gallery on the forums where I point out a way of losing, but in the long run, really hurting our opponents thanks to some new game mechanics.
a wipe is never a good thing unless it unleashes a babyboom which is fairly safe to say in Aus's case is very very unlikely

I don't think anyone argues a babyboom would be excellent. The point is we've yet to find a way (without every active aussie deciding to make 10 multies and thus getting banned).
im a friend of zaney for decades before he leaves. I said the same thing 5 years ago and i did it again now.
Despite both of our country are enemy, but i would be glad if your community grows with real players. Hope you luck bro 🙂
