Welcome new players!

Here comes our "First steps in eRepublik" article of several that will guide you through the game.


With autorization of the now former Minister of Education in Brazil, i'm using and adapting their article about the game for new players.

Political Parties

The eRepublik has a political module with parties and elections. The party you join is up tu you, and it would be good to choose wisely. There are several problems and critics on this module, because it don't give you many options to differ, but to get on the government and to help your country and to influence the decision of your country, you have to go through the parties. And as the game don't give many options, the choice of a party must include your friends and people you get along, and decisions that you think it's right (spend or save, attack or help this or that country, etc).

And, to influence that, you must be an active member of a party, and learn, grow, observe, talk, ask, etc, until you will be ready for a congress seat.

So, as long you get to the right level, you can join a party, going to the main menu -> community -> My Party

After clicking on it, a list of the top parties will appear. Choose the one you are most likely to get along, and present yourself, start chatting and asking!



Hope this series of articles helps you to understand more of the game engine and the whereabouts of the fun on it.
