Welcome new players!

Here comes our "First steps in eRepublik" article of several that will guide you through the game.


With autorization of the now former Minister of Education in Brazil, i'm using and adapting their article about the game for new players.

Train, Fight and Work

The daily tasks are always to work on your companies and/OR for someone, to TRAIN and to fight.

To complete this tasks, you can go on the start (main) page, anc click on the "my place" botton.



From there, you go for the "management" part of the game. You will understand it better later on.

I know, its for a good cause, so go straight for the training grounds.


There, you select the training you wanna do (usually it comes selected) and click "train". There are 4 total training grounds, but for start use just the free one. As soon you have money, upgrade it till level 4. After that, upgrade the second (0.19 gold) up to level 4, and as soon it is at level 3 start the training there too.


This is to increase the maximum amount of strengh you can get and still get gold from super soldier medal (you get it each 250 strenght you get, with 5 gold to save).

As training increases your strengh, which is base for damage you do, and with more level you get the more dificult adversaries you get, we recomend you avoid fighting until you get at least 10k to 20k of strenght.

As so, we are not explaining too much on fighting, except that you consume energy of food you have to produce or buy, and that is not what you want in the beginning, because you need the start gold and money to evolve more quickly.

Working.
If you click on "my companies", you will find your current job and your companies. We, again, do not recomend you work on your companies (give XP and makes you level up faster).
[img]http://i.imgur.com/kYIa3RK.png/img] You can seek for a job on "job market", and work fore some cash. for that you click on "get a job", and choose one of the offers, usually the best ones are on top of the first page.[/img]

You already starts with 3 companies. Although we do not recomend you use them until you get strong and are inevitably on 4th division (of battles), you can select to "manage" on them and "work" (after you click) by yourself on it. You can work only once per day.


After, one window will show how much you produced or got working, after taxes. To sell your production, you can put on sale at your store, the third button (after the training grounds).



Hope this series of articles helps you to understand more of the game engine and the whereabouts of the fun on it.
