Day 3,788, 20:38 Published in United Kingdom France by Hell The Great

Greetings peons, today I'm happy to announce the policies I'll be looking to implement over the coming month, to continue our rise to glory. Before I go into them, I'd like to mention two things: 70%, 20% and 3.

Since my grorious term as CP started after the zonmei event, our deployment measure (a percentage figure given to each country which indicates their 'value' on the battlefield and off it) has increased by 80%. When we first started, we were on par with Estonia at around the 0.45% figure. This figure is used when deciding which countries can be deployed (A country can at any one time, deploy countries whose deployment cost is 15% or below). Today, this figure stands at 0.77%. We still have a way to go, but instead of being one third of the value of Lithuania; we are now two thirds. This is an indication that progress is being made: but also a reminder: more has to be done.

Since the start of my grorious premiership, our overall daily air damage has increased by 20%. However this alone is not the important thing: thanks to our work on coordination, through messages and Discord; our air has become targeted and focused damage. We have moved up in the rankings by 3 places, comfortably beating Lithuania, who we were often neck and neck with in the past. But again: this is progress, but not victory. Thus, whilst those of you who login and do your daily clicks may appreciate the extra messages for coordination, and may feel that whilst you're doing stuff, it doesn't seem others are playing ball: they are. Things are improving, not just on the battlefield, not just in coordination, and not just on Discor😛 our media's livened up, but I want to stress: this is just an account of the foundations of things being set; this is not the end goal, and this is by no means a declaration of victory: I have much more to do; and so do you.

MoHA - Mr Woldy
Domestically, our focus is on continued integration with new citizens. Whilst our weekly events continue to receive some interest, I will be louder. Whilst our constant offers of help and assistance are normally with a citizen within 24 hours of them signing up, We will be faster. We will continue our NPF scheme, throw every carrot and stick at newbies to get them involved, and continue to encourage anyone and everyone to run for congress, get involved in government, or take up some kind of responsibility somewhere; whatever they're doing, the moment they engage with the community, is the moment they become 9001 more likely to stick around.

Our article series will continue, and I'm confident Woldy and his team will be on top of things. Their focus will not just be on this engagement, but also using the output of other ministries to ensure an up to date, useful and engaging tutorial and 'guideline' for new players to use, follow, and learn from.

MoF - Huey and Keers
Financially, I've asked two players to step into the MoF this month. As Huey is busy with a multitude of things, he hasn't had the time to produce some of the content I was hoping for this month, as such, I've asked Keers to step in to help take on some of the workload in that respect. Huey will retain responsibility for the safe handling of our assets, and the running of the various Monetary Market schemes we offer, and Keers will focus on producing the content that new players and old players alike are sorely missing: a one stop shop for how, and where, to sink your GBP and gold.

MoDFA - Dave Trenga
Defensively and Foreign Affairsively, I've asked Dave to step up to the new combined post of Defence/Foreign Affairs brief. I was hoping that Fata would be back, but he is currently MIA somewhere in Shropshire. In light of this, I'll be continuing the quasi-MoFA role that I've had over the past few months as our resident AMD appears out of puff, after more articles in 2 months than in his previous 17 years of playing. The focus we have defensively, is our new orders priorities, much more work to improve the public orders, and a continuation of the coordination programs that I implemented this month. Dave's hard work with MU commanders and gov-MU relations will continue, and Dave's non-government scheme will I'm sure continue to flourish.

I hope Dave and I will be able to finalize our long held ambition of founding a non-government MU, to bring some much needed competition to the MU makeup of the UK, and offer troops some of the most flexible and competitive supplies available on the market. This is a proposal that's been bubbling for a while, but with Dave's support, I'm sure it'll be pushed over the finishing line in the next month.

As well as this, to complement our coordination orders, we will at long last begin our Daily CO program. To ensure I'm not stepping on toes, the finer details of this will be announced by Dave once this starts, but the take home notes are: CO funding across all ground divisions, and air rounds. This will be done on a looped basis to ensure that it is affordable, but also massively generous to those who take part. The COs will be available 24/7, so anyone who logs in and fights can receive them.

Finally, we'll be rolling our our centralised rewards system for air fighters. Not only will those who give up BHs to improve their air rank benefit from generous COs (which those who fight in D1/D2/D3/D4 ground rounds will receive too), but air troops will also receive rank up bonuses and attendance bonuses. Again, the finer details will be released by the MoD next month, but the takeaway points are: rewards for completing a certain amount of hits each day and rewards for ranking up.

Before the votebegging here ends, I'd like to once again remind everyone: the more people who help out in gov, the more things get done. Last month hardly anyone applied to help; next month isn't here yet and we've already got 3 people who've volunteered to help out. We need people to keep this pace going: I can't do it all myself, and neither Woldy, Dave, Keers nor Huey can be expected to either. So get involved, muchas gracias.
