[Invalidation4CP] What Makes the eUK?

Day 2,199, 16:57 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Invalidation

The eUnited Kingdom for the last few years has been a conflict of opposing groups. Our politics is cut-throat and often quite dirty. Hypocrisy is as rife among the moralfaggers and the wannabe revolutionaries. We stand divided, with lines drawn according to tribalism, ideology and everything under the sun from accusations of conspiracy to cheating. Its a state of affairs that many are unhappy with, and every side calls out for change and compromise.

But why should we? Why should anyone have to change for anyone else? Why bother with compromise?

The fact is that despite all our differences, however bitter and however heated, everyone here wants the best for the country. From the 'evil' Iain Keers to the 'power-crabbing' BigAnt, we all want eUK to succeed no matter what wild motives we imagine our hated internal enemies have.

What the trouble stems from is not conflicting aims. Its that everyone is apparently an absolutist, their ideas are the only valid ones and nobody else can possibly be correct because there is one path to glory! This trouble is compounded by a belief that most people seem to share – the belief that everything involving the eUK is the responsibility of the current government.

Well I say no group needs to radically change or compromise to the point of degradation.

I want to see an eUK boiling over with competition between every group with the will to do what it thinks is right! Its what we're suited to, its what is best for our younger generation and best for ourselves. So what if the elected government isn't using your policies, enact them yourselves. A surprising amount of things can be achieved even without a pixel title.

The obstacle here is first and foremost laziness and a willingness to take the path of least resistance. Why bother to feed yourself when the spoon in already being guided into your mouth.. Why learn about alliances and other countries when there's a guy who knows a guy already.. Why work out where your damage is needed and when if you can dump it all in the first battle you see..

What someone needs to do is step back and leave people to make decisions and make mistakes. I want to see people taking their fate into their own hands. Lets not have monolithic ministries to do everything, lets have all these competing groups with all their different ideas striving to enact them at once.

We'd soon find there are now multiple NHS-type organisations, each trying to provide a better supply than the next! Now we have multiple ways our young players are introduced to the game, each with its own slant or specialisation!

What if people use this for political gain?! They already have, already do, and will continue to do so... Its pointless to deny it, lets encourage it. Players will be more motivated to provide the best service they can if they have a personal interest as well as a national one!

All someone needs to do is legitimise and even encourage the de facto eUK gameplay. So I thought: what if I stood up to do what's necessary. Afterall, I can't rely on anyone else to what I think is right.

This is the attitude I want to see everyone take. Don't rely on anyone else to do what you think needs to be done – just get on with it, no matter what anyone else says!

* Skeleton non-necessary ministries
* Encourage responsibility – not welfare
* Internal conflict exists and we 'secretly' love it
* Legitimise and maximise on the state of affairs
* Let our conflict be our competition

Stay tuned to learn about what I will aim to do so we can achieve all this and more...
