[IA] Introducing Irish Airforce!

Day 3,174, 10:21 Published in Ireland South Korea by Don Croata

Dia Duit!
As announced we’ve taken into consideration changing Irish Army because of the recent changes made in this game. LittleFishy has made some very good points in his article and it basicly sums up what we’ve been thinking about. It’s good to know there are more people in this country who are thinking about how can we improve our country.

Initial thoughts

For many years our army has been small, we’re just a small part of eWorld, probably not even 1% of the world’s damage. Without having a baby boom or massive immigration from abroad we could never become an important force of this game. However, so far we’ve been very successful in making ourselves much stronger than we really are. Mostly thanks to the individuals who understood this game better than others, or just our reputation, which we taken care of and which probably attracts people to fight for us.

Introducing Aircraft was a glimmer of hope for eIreland. With our small population, if we all focus on one goal, we could reach more than we had so far. And this hope is still there. My thought was: If all the Irish fight only in Airforce battles we’re going to rank up sooner than others and turn things on our side. We would have a quality to beat the quantity. Can we do this? Maybe, we would have to try hard. Irish Army will definitly give it a go. We can’t lose too much.

The next thing we’re going to do is focus half of our coordinated strikes in Airforce battles, we’re going to reward reaching next ranks after Aviator, we’re going to advice people to produce their own missiles.

What’s Aircraft?
Aircraft is a new industry in the game announced by Admins. It’s basicly reset of strenght and rank. A new chance for everyone. It’s like 2nd server of this game which wins 22/55 points. Airforce battles are held every 4th round of a battle.

Irish Airforce

Irish Airforce won’t be a separate regiment, it will simply be a list of people who are going to be focused on developing their Airforce rank. We’re going to work a little bit differently with this group. Hopefully we’re going to make sure each member of the group has its own weapons production (when it becomes profitable). Group is going to have its own message, it will be monitored for some time and then we'll see what's best thing to do. With changes coming out this often it's hard to predict what's this is going to turn to.

IAFC won’t have its own communes, simply because it would be very stupid to have one. Reason is this: In communes we’d need 9 people to produce 45 missles. With the current weapon durability those missles are mostly spent with ~100ff, which means that 9 people would work for one quarter of health of a buying player.

Fighting with missles is for those who can afford it, mostly for gold buyers. For the rest of us there’s always hard working no-weapons fights. Difference will be amount of fights one soldier can make per day. More fighting means better rank, d'oh!

We’ll have a list of members of IAFC until the end of this week, all Irish Army members will be able to apply for it. Rewards for reaching next rank will be announced in the next article, most likely after the Sunday strike in which we’re going to hold a meeting in which all IA members will be invited. I’d like to hear your thoughts and ideas.

Coordinated Strikes

Irish Army is organising Coordinated strikes every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday in 14:00 erep time (10 pm Irish time). Some of the Commanders in Irish Army will take care of it. It could be me, Shytach, Sluagh, Kevin or someone else. You’re going to be supplied with an extra 20 weps for every strike you join.

Coordinated strikes are important part of Irish Army because we meet each others through them and more important we can actually change something, we can make a better impact in the battle, we can turn the wall and help an ally or eIreland.

Imagine seeing Irish flags flying all across the battlefield, imagine us fighting for our allies this way, this is the true purpose of these strikes.
